1770 Sovereign Lodge Retreat is located in the heart of Town of 1770, just 1 minute’s walk from the beach, a restaurants, park and 1770 Marina for all water activities. It features traditional Balinese design and furnishings with a lovely view of the 1770 Estuary. Facilities at 1770 Sovereign Retreat include an outdoor pool with sun loungers, and a BBQ area with outdoor seating as well as an outdoor observation deck with beautiful ocean views. Each suite offers air conditioning, ceiling fans, a flat-screen TV and DVD player. Guests can relax in the sun or explore the Great Barrier Reef. The tour desk can arrange boat cruises to Lady Musgrave Island, just 75 minutes away. Agnes Water town center is 5 minutes’ drive away.

- Location is great - close to 1770 beaches
Cons -
- Kitchen lacked basic amenities - no pot, no toaster. Limited utensils. Infested with ants in kitchenette and rear door. No BBQ facilities even though organized. No communication from property - either via booking.com or SMS - when issues with noisy neighbours or trying to locate bbq. Overpriced and poorly maintained
