Pros +
- Everything was very good, the Automated checkin process worked well.
- The room was spacious and the bed was relatively comfortable. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices, even though I had to walk a few minutes to a different hotel.
- The hotel is conveniently located, clean and quiet.
Cons -
- For out of towners the location of Breakfast was not clear, had to ask another stayer where was breakfast. Possibly provide more clear communication of that location of Breakfast and that its at another hotel, then possibly a map...
- The reception service needs improvements: The check-in process was rather complicated: I had to call a number from a telephone at the reception desk and get a code for the room key dispenser. If you don’t speak German or English, you’d have been in big trouble just to get into your room! Also, when I enquired if I could leave my luggage after checking out, I was told there was no problem. However, on the actual day, I was told there wold be no one at the reception desk after 1pm, which meant I had to carry my suitcases all over the place, taking taxis instead of buses, until it was time for me to leave Rheda. Also, the amenity was minimal - there were liquid soap dispenser at the sink and shower, but no shampoo or conditioner.
- Even though I was aware of this, it is weird not to check in with a person at a reception desk. I would quite happily check in at the Koenigs hotel for some human interaction! It feels like there is no one to talk to if there is a problem or if you simply have a question.

The room was prepared faster, because I arrived early.
The breakfast was served at another hotel in the neighborhood.
Breakfast was at sister hotel nearby. Great value for money.
Advertised as biking hotel. But couldn’t assist me with hiring a bike!
The location is perfect. They have free Apfelschörle and bottled sparkling water in the entrance and a nice coffee machine too. The receptionists and the lady at the bar helped me to hire a taxi. They were very kind and helpful.
Internet connection was bad after the second night. Sometimes it doesn’t connect at all. Maybe they should have a look at the internet issues.
It’s nicely located in the city center. Quick response to emails. Water for free. Comfortable bed, bathroom was ok.
It’s all self-check in and self check-out, which isn’t a problem. But I thing for no service the price per night could be less. 120€ is a bit steep for a night in a small city in a hotel with no staff and breakfast.
The hotel was very aesthetically furnished.
There was no air conditioning in the room, and the windows did not have fly screens, so mosquitoes came into the room when opening the windows when venting. Furthermore, the room is located in the center of the city, it was quite noisy.
I stayed at the Koenigs Hotel their sister hotel. I had a great stay and the staff were very helpful. The room was large and comfortable, and breakfast was good.
For a one day stay it was OK. Location is in the Center and parking is a 5 minute walk.
Rather big, clean room, looks new, silent inside and outside.
There is an elevator and the hotel itself is well. Always a place to park available
Reception forgot to tell me that i need to go back to the reception and pay there, i was in a hurry and it was not very thoughtful of them to make me walk to the other hotel where the reception is.
Affordable cozy and peaceful place. Friendly and helpful staff. Recommend!
Breakfast was fine but we did not know that it was not included in our price
