Hotel Bismarckhöhe

The location was perfect. The Hexenpad walking trail was like a fairytale forest. Staff where friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Value for money.

The 3 persons room could have been vacuumed better ( the spiders with there webs ).

Everything was great, the very friendly staff, nice room with comfy bed - even cool in a room with no airco and 35C outside, great diner with compliments to the chef: a wiener schnitzel as it should be > home made and also the french fries, very good breakfast to start the day. I will remember this hotel for a future stay!!

Nothing absolutely nothing

Location and food were good for our needs. Not a lot of variety on the menue. Breakfast was excellent.

Rooms were clean but sparce. No hairdryer and no tea making facilities. If you didn't speak German menues were difficult to understand and staff were not all able to explain in English. All staff were polite.

Nice location as a stop-over when I drive to my house in south of France. Quit buitiful locatien, welcoming if I bring a dog.

Breakfast (small extra fee) is amazing!

The window in my room was leaking and it wasn’t spotlessly cleaned.

Great locationFriendly staff

No curtains at one of my bedroom windows letting light in all night resulting in a very poor sleep.I eventually managed to cover some of the window with the spare duvet and pillow.

Lovely hotel in a peaceful setting with fabulous views. The staff were great and dinner and breakfast were excellent and good value.

After a long drive we looked for a hotel that would not take us too far from the motorway and Hotel Bismarckhohe came up on Booking.com. We arrive after the last check-in but the staff left keys and instructions for us at the entrance of the hotel. We will definitely will come back.

The hotel is a little bit off the road, but not too far. The rooms are nice, the staff always at your service and the breakfast excellent.

I always arrive too late when the kitchen already has closed. Luckily the breakfast compensates.

Staff very friendly, Good food. And very quiet place very relaxing.  they have a problem with the Internet when I was there. Things happen.

Friendly reception, comfortable room and excellent breakfast. Pet friendly.

The hotel was difficult to reach because of roadblocks. The reception closed at 9 pm as well as the hotel restaurant and the only other restaurant in the village.

We had a nice room with evreything we needed.Our dog was welcome everywhere and they stored our dogfood in their fridge.Good and friendly service.

The breakfast was fresh and tasty with very reasonable price! The room equipment was simple but satisfied. A small refrigerator was in the room and drinks can be purchased from vending machines.

If you have a big luggage, it is a challenge to get to the hotel up the hill from the busstop. There are no shops near the hotel. You can book your dinner at the hotel restaurant.

The room was spacious and breakfast was good.

I was shocked that the wifi available to guests was unsecured. Also, you could only get TV in the room by means of a paid screen-sharing app through your own phone. For visitors from outside the EU the app was not even downloadable. There were no facilities in the room for making coffee and tea.

Really good choice in Tecklenburg.
