Ringhotel Forellenhof

Beautiful hotel in the middle of the countryside (but still close to the autobahn) for an overnight stay. Spacious bedrooms with super comfortable beds and with new bathrooms. The shower pressure was AMAZING and the feeling of the hotel was something else. Super quiet and absolutely German in the best way possible. I arrived late with the kitchen closing, but still, the staff was super accommodating and I had a great dinner at the hotel restaurant, in an outside sitting area with a great view over the surrounding nature. The breakfast was also great with a huge variety of quality items. The brewed coffee was especially tasty. Recommended.

Good hotel but the room above bar was horrible. The noice from cleaning ladies in the morning was bad. Room was also very dusty :(

The hotel was very nice and located in a pleasant location. Also, the food in the restaurant was very tasty and big portion, in the restaurant a person could spend at least €25 or more for one nice evening. The cleaning in the room was the most appreciated.

Very comfortable rooms in a quiet and beautiful environment a small trip of the motorway. The staff is very friendly.The restaurant serves both refined regional and Italian inspired dishes. Very big choice at the breakfast buffet.Best German hotel in its price category I know.

The only thing I dislike is that recently the hotel had already been fully booked when I tried to reserve a room.

The outside garden

The room was tiny with very small bed. No air conditioning and not even a ventilator.

The service was amazing. The restaurant was exceptional. The whole complex has so much to offer and they’re very focused on providing sustainable luxury. We were also only a few minutes drive from the Vogel park which was the purpose of our visit

The location is magnificent, breakfast has pancakes, the stuff is very welcoming and friendly!

The bed and pillows were too soft for my taste, but it's really my own problem :D

Fresh and delicious breakfast spread in the morning, while the evening before was a large pit BBQ with multiple meat choices and outstanding sides. Our room was wonderful and relaxing, but with no A/C in the rooms, be prepared to sleep without any covers or sheets as the August days can be extremely warm.

The hotel is in a beautiful area and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really good too.

Maybe we were unlucky but both times we went to reception (checkin, checkout), there was nobody there. In the case of checkin, we had to wait at least 20 minutes.The bathroom had motion-activated lights and a fan, so there was a light show if somebody needed to use the toilet in the night.

Everything was great. The room was new, silent and very cozy. The breakfast was very good as well as the dinner. The bathroom was also very good and clean. The staff is really nice. There was enough parking places.

The only thing that could be better is that in the morning the room was very clear very early, that could be a problem during Summer time. There was no "Rolladen" or "Blackouts" in the windows.

Unaccompanied dogs got onto the playground peeing and pooping where small children play. Not nice at all!
