Hotel Aan De Singel

The location was perfect for us. Our friends lived just a few blocks away. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The rooms were very clean. The beds were comfortable. We bought the breakfast plan with our room and the food was good.

Our friends were busy on Sunday and most of the area around the hotel were closed on Sunday. It would have been nice to have a list of restaurants open and locations would have been appreciated.

The room was quite simple, but very clean and comfy. Continental breakfast was included which was nice. Tea and coffee making failities in the room.

Would benefit from a hairdryer in the room rather than on request.

Great location in the city center, easily to find.Only up to 8 min from train station.Nice hotel, lovely personal.Heating with radiators (and not with climate control).

I missed option of thinner pillow to sleep on ?, however this is only personal preference.

They close the heating was super cold. Bathroom was not supper clean.

I would have liked a coffee machine instead of instant coffee for the price but that’s minor, as well it was a bit loud in the morning looks like walls are not totaly isolated

I like the high ceiling and the building is unique. The personnel thinks it is just a normal standard hotel, but the location and the building has according to me more potential and than what currently is expressed.

It's an old building so the ceilings are quite high. Rooms are spacious, and they clean the rooms every day. A few restaurants nearby, as well as shops within walking distance.

Wifi is barely usable, I ended up not using it at all - I guess it depends on the room you get, mine had barely any signal. Aim for the lower-numbered rooms if you want better signal.The area is a bit...run-down, several businesses are closed permanently. No fridge in the room, only a communal one in the hallway.

The lack of air conditioning during a heat wave made the rooms uncomfortable to sleeping at night

Nice, spacy room, quiet but very central location. Their restaurant in the neighbourhood, where menu and selection is nice with affordablme prices.

Frigider was in the description, but that was not available in the room. In hot summer period should be a problem that only the upper third of the window is openable and there is no air conditioner available.

Excellent breakfast - good coffee, helpful staff

Good location. Comfortable and clean room and bathroom for tall people. Breakfast coffee was very good and breakfast starts early (6am - 9am). We liked our stay.

Room vas rather cold. There were no fresh or pickled vegetables for breakfast. Parking area was small, but we managed to find a place to park on the street.

There were no one to help us to get in when we reached , may be because it’s good friday. The room we got first time was not cleaned , we got another room when we mentioned it.

The hotel is in a good central location and the associated pub/restaurant beside it has great food and drink. Dinner and breakfast were perfect.

The room was cold upon arrival. We could've used instructions in the case when no staff is there or in the cafe or answering the phone, but it was fine in the end.
