BRIT HOTEL Le 940 Le Touquet-Etaples

Very clean and the staff were pleasant. Bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Room very small. It was difficult to open a large suitcase and lay it flat.

Very noisy in the morning as they had had a delivery of mattresses. Twice someone knocked on our door despite us putting label on door that we didn’t want to be disturbed My husband wasn’t well and it was very annoying.This hasn’t happened before as we had stayed here previously.

Really enjoyed our stay, especially as my wife and I were the only people in the restaurant. The young man that served us our meal and looked after us during our day was fantastic. A really nice guy.

The knob of a policeman who would not let us in at the rear of the hotel because he thought we shouldn't be going through that entrance. The hotel were hosting the local police for immigrants trying to cross the channel. The entrance at the rear is where the hotel owner told us where to go to get to our room, quite embarrassing, then again, he had a big gun!

Friendly and helpful staff. Very close to Etaples Military Cemetery that we were visiting.

The one criticism is that the rooms aren't very soundproofed so you can hear noise from the corridor and other rooms.

Location excellent for onward journey to the tunnel. Good value for money.

The bed was uncomfortable. Lumpy mattress in room 105 and I didn’t sleep well as a result

Convenient location, very clean, compact rooms with comfortable beds.

Poor experience in restaurant. My meal was not up to usual standard- having stayed at hotel many times before- very disappointed. No attempt made at service recovery. My partner’s meal was good.

Comfortable bed. Good to have drink facilities. Breakfast was excellent. Good choice of continental breakfast food.

Would like to be able to open a window. If the weather was very hot it would have been very uncomfortable. Would prefer mugs/cups rather than paper cups.

Good size room, clean and large shower.Staff was very welcoming, especially the girl who ran reception the bar and waited table in the eveningFood and especially breakfast was excellent

Minor issue with address for Satnav, it needs more than the D road number.Some on-site building work at the time of our stay, but not an issue just a comment

The size of the rooms. The location was not good a long way from restaurants you definitely need a car.

Limited choice for dinner in the evenings . No variation in menu same choice of two starters and3 main courses. Especially when you stay more than one night.

Only 45 minute drive from Channel Tunnel.Good food.Very pleasant staff.Quiet and comfortable rooms.

The room was very small for 2 adults and a big labrador. Nowhere the dog could sleep without us falling over him

Great stopover hotel with everything we need. Good restaurant. Tasty food. Rooms are compact with good facilities. Welcome pets.

Great little stop not too far from the channel tunnel. Kind staff ( despite my poor French!) Clean,easy parking with our car and roofbox. Nice food and good value. Nearby to war graves.

Breakfast was lacking, very limited and no soya /almond milk.Paying a big deposit in case anything gets broken.

The room was musty, the pillows old and lumpy. The shower was covered in black mild, everywhere. It was really disgusting. Staff said that they must have forgotten to clean the day before… more like the year before!

Nothing not to like. The room was great, not too big but had everything you need. The bed was sooo comfortable. The shower was fantastic..hot and powerful. Breakfast and restaurant were great too. We loved the place?
