Pros +
- The owner of the hotel was really nice. The hotel and the room were very clean and comfortable. It is well situated near the center of the city and close to the train station. It is also very close to the city of Ath (15 minutes by train). I recommend this hotel.

- Beautiful old building with modern facilities, very quiet, wonderful staff, great breakfast, all in a town worth a stop.
Cons -

- The cleanliness in the shower was disappointing. The parking was also very much down to luck, fortunately we were lucky to find something 5-10 minutes walk away.
- It was a pity the bar wasn’t open as we were looking forward to relaxing in it after 2 days at Pairi Diaza. The room was booked for 3 adults and a child but the small double bed was really only suitable for 2 children. We would have liked a curtain at the bathroom door so that you couldn’t see in from the bedroom. We had to keep the light off for privacy.

The bedroom was a good size and the little terrace was very nice. The main area of the bedroom and the beds were perfectly clean. The breakfast was simple but some of the bread was still frozen in the centre and there were no options for gluten intolerance.

Lovely decor, very clean. Nice terrace off our room. Very friendly host who provided a great breakfast!

It is a charming and beautifully renovated place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here after a long day at Pairi Daiza. The family room is well appointed, has a sizeable terrace and a large bathroom. The bedding is luxurious and extremely comfy. We enjoyed the breakfast in the garden too.
The staff was very polite and friendly! They were ready to help you with questions you may have and make you feel comfortable with what you need during your stay! The room was clean, spacious and very modern decoration wise! The breakfast was excellent too! Best scrambled eggs I have ever tasted! :D Totally recommend trying them! :) All in all it was a pleasant stay! :)
