It's a very quiet, tiny family owned hotel, very close to the train station. Breakfast was fresh and adequate.
The room was small but clean and cozy with lots of amenities. The location is convenient and there's lots of choices for breakfast.
The heating was on and we didn't realise until the middle of the night. The walls were thin but besides the occasional cough it was quiet.
The room was great. Perfect for 1 person on an overnight. Staff super friendly. Location was great and market square just around the corner. Having a place to put a bike was great. Breakfast was very nice with good variety.

A great, family run hotel, accommodated five cyclists with dirty bikes, providing a secure space for the bikes. The rooms were clean and comfortable and lovely hot shower. Breakfast had something for everyone. Well located for the centre of Torhout.
It was sufficient, buffet style breakfast, but could have had an arrangement of self coffee/tea making in the breakfast room not only in each room.
No possibility for self making tea/coffee during breakfast.
This is an excellent family run and informal hotell, spotlessly clean, warm with good food and service.
The Booking.com commission was ridiculously expensive - book directly with the hotel Some colleagues booked directly so I coulld see how much of a rip-off Booking.com is.
Definitely not your regular 2 star, more like 4 star - friendly staff, amazing room, great breakfast. One of the best hotels I've stayed at. Torhout is only 15 minutes on the train from Bruges - a great place to stay without paying premium prices.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, Nothing was too much trouble and they let us have breakfast earlier than normal. Really nice selection of food for breakfast and food in the restaurant was good.
Bathroom was a bit on the small side but we only took an economy room and I'm sure the upgraded rooms are a little roomier. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you need. So no complaints.

The room was very small and the 2 single beds weren't what I wanted, why have 2 single beds instead of 1 double bed?Also the bathroom was tiny and you can't sit on the toilet without having to stand in the shower :(
