    Pros +

    • All facilities provided were top notch. especially the room service, organized trips and staff emotional intelligence.
    • Friendly staff & clean facilities. The positive vibe and ambiance created by the layout was a delight! Small fridge in room, useful for keeping extra water and some other refreshments. Easy to use guides for arranging spa experiences or other activities like Safari drives, aerial cable trails or exploring the Blyde River Canyon etc.
    • No breakfast included

    Cons -

    • none that i can recall
    • The food from the restaurant took way too long and for people like us, who were in the hotel not in chalets we basically relied on the restaurant… But the wait between ordering food and actually receiving meals was too long and sadly disappointing… Luckily we found other alternatives around the area. Hotel bed appeared to be 2x single beds pushed together. Would have preferred a double bed in the double room. A balcony would have been nice as the hotel room is rather small despite being a double room.
    • TV channels. Breakfast should be included as price fir room is astronomical

They had quite a bit of facilities

The showers in the room never had hot water in the mornings in some rooms, the reception didn’t answer our calls at 9am to tell them there’s no water. Some stuff were very rude and we had to take all our luggage on our own pushing porter trolleys with no way to get to the ground floor. A lot of bugs in the rooms.

The property is clean and staff is welcoming.

    The wifi reception was low.

The staff was friendly, clean swimming pool, good food and the place was just beautiful.

No one bothered to clean our room, only rubbish bin was taken out ?

    Facilities

I didn't like that Booking.com did not take advantage of the bed & breakfast special at Sanibonani instead made the booking without breakfast. Therefore it became costly for me.

I loved the place but they need to fumigate as it is in the bush. They need to get rid of the steel beds in the luxury r

The breakfast was bad, and the Bed made a lot of noise

Facilities, the kids had super fun

Creepy crawlies, but understandably the resort is in the jungle. Had to face my fear of lizards and frogs... LoL

    Swimming pool

The room we were allocated had 2 single beds,me and hubby,we had to complain for a better room. Also spotted 2 small reptiles in the room☹️

    Location was good

The chalet was really smelly old smoke smell in the curtains that made the whole place smell constantly Bathrooms was poorly tiled looked awful defiantly not 4 star property Kitchen oven couldn’t read the temperature selection as it was worn off and stove should be updated to Gas When compared to the Hazyview Cabanas which were much more modern and updated this place is more of 2star

The breakfast was excellent and the room was excellent, the only problem was they did not refill the bath soap. Then regarding the pool it was raining yet it was clean well look after. The property was clean excellent location.

    1. Our room was not affected by loadshedding. There was always backup power.2. The tv in the room was an actual smart tv. So we could log on to our streaming accounts (you don't get this at many places)3. The swimming pool is incredible. It's big and accommodates just about everyone i.e. children, grown ups who cannot swim, the good swimmers, etc.

    1. The hotel itself looks unkept. It is not cleaned properly, from the corridors, the pool table, the tables and chairs outside the restaurant and bar to the actual rooms themselves. Which leads me to my next point...2. The lady who was cleaning our room during our stay did NOT change our sheets once. We only noticed this during our last night there.3. The same lady does NOT knock on the door when she wants to clean. She just kept throwing herself in our room. The one time she did that, she found us half naked because it was so hot there.4. We booked an executive room for about R8K for three nights and here's what we got for it: 4.1. Sleeper couch and couch that were ready to break at any moment 4.2. Our bed was making squeaky sounds and felt old. 4.3. Bathroom towels that are old and smelly 4.4. Cockroaches all over. 4.5. One night, my wife screamed because we had two geckos in our room - no idea how they got inside because we never opened the sliding door (unless they were always in the room) 4.6. Ants all over the place. Never leave your left overs in any container, you will find ants all over your food the next morning. 4.7. No microwave either so do not have left overs that require warming up the next day.5. The wifi connection in the rooms is basically non-existent. Their maintenance guy had to make a plan for us to get wifi (shout out to him because he gave us some really good alternative).6. The restaurant??!!!!??!! Wow! The worst we have EVER experienced. Brace yourselves: 6.1. The food is terrible! Fire the chef! Whether it's a buffet or al-a-carte, breakfast or dinner, the food is insipid and borderline infuriating! 6.2. The people working at the restaurant do NOT know what they are doing! Our first night there they told us we cannot come and eat there because there were groups of overseas tourists who had first preference because they were so many. WE WERE APPALLED!

    Breakfast was good

It seemed a bit shabby and run down. We have been going here for the past 10 years and it needs a serious revamp.

    8NtshemboPosted on: 8-21-2023

The location is perfect, the activities within the hotel yard golf, tennis court, pool,.... Etc it's on point accommodating both young and old. I will definitely bring the rest of my family next time

At the restaurant the staff made me pay R100 less by a mistake and then came knocking at my room around 8pm, you don't know how she disturbed the best time of my life. I didn't like that

Great place to relax. The family chalets have a lovely river view

The supper buffet was pricier than expected

    6SaritaPosted on: 5-11-2023

the pool , the facilities very neat and tidy

the buffet , menus was disappointing and food did not taste very good . the room I was in the bathroom sink was clogging . while on load shedding fans and aircons don’t work.
