Selati River Ruins

The food was great and amazing service from the friendly staff.

The only issue we had was the wifi didnt reach our room.

Our entire stay was a bliss from the moment we checked in right up to when we checked out. I absolutely love how every staff member goes out of their way to ensure that the guests are still having a great stay. My husband and I were looking for a place to just disconnect with the world and unwind and we found exactly that. Love that its also a driving distance to Kruger National Park.

The host was so accommodating. The food was nice, and the peace and serenity of that place is out of this world.

They had dogs in the lodge.

We had such a great time at Selati River Ruins. The staff were amazing! Extremely friendly, helpful and engaging. Our 18-month old loved giving everyone hi-5s. The facilities are neat and clean, the kids play area is safe and inviting. And the food....amazing! Thank you to the team for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable - even through pouring rain and thunderstorms. We will definitely stop by again when we are in the area.

We personally wanted to thank everyone for their hospitality , it was a very challenging trip for me due to personal reasons and shaun went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable , even when my requests would of seemed somewhat irrational. I will 100 percent be back continuously . The price was amazing and by far the cheapest in the area , and honestly for what we got it should of been a lot more . Im so grateful I found this place . If i could rate out of 100 stars they would get it !!!! Thank you again .

Room was a little cramped for two adults with luggage.

I liked everything about the place,the rooms are number 1,,the food are woow, an the gut called Tesco was soo good to us.....an again the place is so quiet....we really enjoyed....we will come again soon...100% good

Wifi connection, terrible Poor lighting Roaches in the room No towel rack Coffee station was not meant to serve 2 people but one. There were spider webs. My partner was bitten by a spider. There's only one pool and closes at 10pm. Cellphone Reception No wardrobe or clothing storage. We requested a hairdryer and an iron which were not provided. We called multiple times and the phone was not answered. It could do with activities, I had to drive out for activities.

there are no plates or cutlery in the room even though theres s kitchenette. there was only 1 glass so we bought a 2nd one which the staff never washed for our entire stay since it didnt belong to the property.

The room that was apparently booked online was too small according to them it was a standard room. Then we got moved to a bigger room for the same price.

On booking breakfast was included but we had to pay for breakfast. I was told that description of the room at bookings.com is not the same as the one of the property. Can that be corrected please.

We were welcomed with warm hearts, the staff was friendly and We found the room clean. In this case, pictures don't lie. We were served fresh delicious food we enjoyed our stay, especially our busy bee.

Nice room with a really comfortable bed. Technically there are views to the river, although the river was dry and I think it is normally that way, however the grounds are nice. There's a pleasant and large bar/restaurant area which has quite a fun feel and good food. Breakfast is really good and well worth getting. The owners are nice and friendly and the other staff were great.
