Forum Homini is a serene, luxurious retreat in Muldersdrift with exceptional service, stunning suites, and outstanding d
We had our anniversary/babymoon stay here. The stay was nice and cosy and quiet and private. Exactly what we needed. The food was exquisite. Highly recommended for a private stay.
Restaurant can have more decor that is fitting for a fine dining restaurant. Very minimalist.
I never knew of the entrance being a dirt road. I got a puncture. The parking from the room was a bit far with a few inclines, which did not sit well with me as I have a heart condition and walking distances does become uncomfortable. I have paid for meals which I could not enjoy because the meal times conflicted with our time we had to be at our conference. So we could not sit down for meals. We only had breakfast which was good.
The long walk to my room and back to parking as I mentioned before, I have a heart condition
Lovely setting overlooking water with wildlife etc. enjoyable dinner/tasting menu and matching wines. Attentive and friendly staff.
The property is a little dated and scruffy around the edges. But comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.
Location great, staff are amazing, food was good, nice hot water and big bed
Rooms require maintenance and upgrading..blocked drains..bedside lights hanging..smelly toilet on entering..carpets not cleaned well..there was dirt like lettuce in the bathroom floor..tv too small..couch not comfy or practicle and creaks..dead insects in the bed net..not much to do if spending more than a night other than relax or you can drive out
This is a highly unique and exceptional hotel. The private location in a reserve gives you a genuine feeling of being out of the city. The rooms are enormous and extremely comfortable. The food is great, the staff are lovely. What's more, this hotel will always be immensely special to my future wife and I because we got engaged here. We could not have chosen a more romantic and sumptuous location in which to take our union to the next level. Highly recommended. We'll done Forum Homini.
Had an amazing vegetarian 5 course dinner - so well balanced and creative!
Wish there was a longer walking trail.
Beautiful layout, calm and peaceful. Perfect weekend getaway in close proximity to Johannesburg, Luxurious with excellent staff and wonderful food
Rooms can do with a bit of modernisation in decor whilst still maintaining the cradle of mankind theme
The tranquility of the location was amazing. The facilities are well maintained and everything has a touch of sophistication. We were celebrating my birthday, the team arranged a beautiful table set up with rosés the set up was breath taking. The food was five star level and the staff were professional and yet friendly.
There are too much flies.
Superb 5 course meal, outstanding service and extremely comfortable accommodation
Everything especially their meals. The Chef has put his foot in it?The staff is super friendly, they take time to explain all foods on the menus and any questions The premises are well kept, there are no unnecessary visits from housekeeping ?
The 5 course meal was absolutely mind-blowing. Chef Micheal Nhlapo is amazing and super talented. The room set up was amazing and the staff were extremely attentive
nothing that I can think of
Everything. Beautiful and comfortable room. Excellent food and friendly service.
One of my best stays in this area! The place is beautiful, tranquil and peaceful. The 5 course dinner and 4 course breakfast was exceptional. We really enjoyed every moment we spent here and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. The restaurant catered to our preferences and dietary requirements. Our waiter, Michael, was amazing at describing each course of our dinner.
