This family-run hotel, located next to the Pétrusse Valley Park, is a 15-minute walk from Luxembourg city center. Le Chatelet benefits from free Wi-Fi, a sauna and the reception is open from 7am until 10pm. Le Chatelet offers rooms with a flat-screen TV and a small refrigerator. Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast every morning including pastries, fresh fruit and home-made products. Luxembourg Railway Station is 2789 feet from Le Chatelet. The Palais Grand-Ducal is a 20-minute walk from the hotel. Luxembourg Airport is just over 10 minutes away by car. The reception is open from 7am until 10pm.

The location is convenient to get to train station and old town. However, itÂ¿s also very noisy due to airplanes and vehicles passing by.
Cozy hotel with a great caracter. Very good breakfast.

Cons -

There is no A/C in the hotel. We arrived in mid-June on an extraordinarily hot day with high of 90 F. Even though we were running the fan all night long, it was impossible to fall asleep. I would not recommend this hotel for summer trips.
We were warned but we had to climb up a circular staircase to reach our room on the 3rd floor. No elevator.
I did not get the promised rate. I had to pay EY --- per room. The first two days, I got Room #5 where the window opened to the outside area where a dozen Luxemburgers congregated to smoke and chat. So, I had to keep the window closed, and the room sta
