Schloss Hotel Wurzen

The room was cozy, clean, quiet, and spacious. The bed was good, the sofa area as well was nice.Breakfast buffet was pretty nice! The hotel is located directly next to the cathedral, not so far from the train station.The cathedral and the castle are beautiful.

A fun place to stay but also a clean and spacious room. Breakfast was very good. Very happy to have stayed here.

Fantastic building with plenty of character, warm and clean.nice bed linen. Friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant for evening meal and breakfast was very good. Plenty of hot water for shower. Easy parking

Shower curtain didn't give much room in the shower. Bathroom was clean but could do with an upgrade. My colleagues room was updated i think so they are not all the same. Would have liked tea making in the room. There was bottled water but quite small. I could have asked for more. Television basic.

A Medieval Castle in the center of a German town. Great experience to stay in such surroundings. Nice room, very comfortbale bed. Tasty food in the restaurant and very good breakfast. We did like it a lot and will definatley come back.

The shower head did not switch between the large one and regular one but we used the one in the Jacuzzi Bath instead

This place is so beautiful, the location is everything you can hope for in a hotel. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The Castle vibes are present everywhere you look, the attention to detail is spot on. The breakfast is very extensive, it has everything you can ask for. There is enough parking just outside the gates and some nice restaurants too. We enjoyed our stay very much and we'll definitely be back.

Absolutely nothing.

Room was nice and comfy and quite big. A 400 year old castle was a nice feature but room modern. Overall nice bit not exceptional.

Shower head kept dropping in holder which meant bathroom floor.got wet. We had a view of a wall and weeds! Breakfast got less and less each day and uncovered.food and flies. Parking could be difficult!!! We did enjoy our stay but just letting you know a few small points we found.

A really nice location in the castle.They also serve local dishes at the breakfast but also in the restaurant.

The Internet was not always working properly.The staff could be a bit more warm. Nothing to complain, just seemed a bit cold sometimes.

No lift for heavy suitcases but worth the climb

The suite is very cosy an has ample of space with a fire place. A night in an old castle always has something special. The bath tub is huge and invites for fun. The staff is kind, friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and in the castle rooms - groovy!

I arrived late, had to leave at 4 am, and told them so in advance. When I arrived, the friendly receptionist was waiting for me with a tray of prepared sandwiches for breakfast. The room was comfortable and quiet. And this being the off season, I got an entire castle all to myself.

That we were what seemed like the only non-wedding guests. There was a lovely reception that we seemed to intrude upon. Awkward!

The bathroom in the room had no vent, the smell wasn't great.

One room was not ready. Te size of the single room was disappointing as it was the breakfast. The noise was terrible due to a wedding reception and there was no parking available.

The staff was really helpful, even with language barriers, they always found a way to sort out my requests.The place is lovely and the room was spacious and comfortable, quiet environment and close to the center. Food served in the Restaurant was great too.Will definitely stay here again.
