Kasbah Agounsane Hotel & Spa

Our stay here was very peaceful. We were dropped off after a tour to Abafier Waterfalls, and it was the perfect place to unwind away from the city. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable, making it easy to fully relax. The cocktails weren’t the best, but it was still nice to have the option available. Overall, a lovely, calm place to stay if you’re looking for some quiet time.

The hotel doesn't have many rooms so if you are after some peace and quiet this is a wonderful place. Well looked after by the staff and food was very nice. Located on a hill side with views of the plains.

Internet can be a bit sketchy, but I doubt this has anything to do with the hotel to be honest.

The stay was incredible. The staff was very helpful and super attentive to every detail. The hotel is very well maintained, clean and aesthetically pleasing. The breakfast is varied with moroccan specialties and delicious. The vibe is very calm and cosy, with the lighting and decoration in the rooms, common place and terrasse. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped. The view is stunning daytime and nighttime, and the location is very calm. It’s an excellent location for a retreat. For activities, there is possibility to do hike/walk/car ride uphill or even a quad cycle ride. There is also a small workout room with dumbbells and a treadmill, a pingpong table and a very well maintained pool. I would definitely recommend it. Special thanks to the manager Badr and all of the staff.

No complaints at all. I would suggest using the extra space in the property for additional entertainment options : small sport court and a playground area.

Incredible staff. They accommodated our diets for breakfast. They were super kind and hard working. Also, the location is superb.

Minor things: it was a little chilly and the toiletries in the bathroom could be improved. Also, the internet coverage was spotty and unreliable.

All of the stuff were great! Everybody should try hammam with Zahra :) Perfect location.

Mohammed (our waiter and general helpful guy) treated us so well, the pool and view is beautiful.

Food was average and management pretty terrible. Treatment of junior staff really needs to be better. Some of the local clientele were downright rude which made it a bit awkward too. Lack of coffee was a particular issue!

We had an exceptional stay! We were lucky to be given the beautiful Blue Suite, which was even more stunning than in the photos spacious, elegant, and with an amazing view. The staff was incredibly dynamic, attentive, and always ready to help. A special thanks to Mrs Kaoutar, who welcomed us so warmly and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Her kindness and professionalism truly made a difference. Everything was perfect!

I absolutely love this place. It’s my second time and it’s such a peaceful paradise. It’s very laid back and the staff are super chilled. Waking up to the sound of the birds on the morning is sublime.

The unique setting of the Kasbah Hotel against the side of the Atlas Foothills with far reaching views. The authentic decor. Attentive staff, long interesting chats with Esham about traditional Bereber life. Very comfortable huge bed.

Bedrooms could do with some refurbishment. Broken toilet handle, curtain partly off rail etc. Little or no understanding of need for a gluten free food.

Great hotel in a very quiet environment. The staff was very kind and helpful; they were always there to help or to just have a friendly conversation. The room was very big, which was nice, but also the terrace and the area around the swimmingpool are great to sit and relax. The location is not to far from Marrakech and from the hotel you have options to visit other places in the area (transportation is required). We also booked a hammam treatment at the spa, which was amazing. Breakfast and dinner was also very good. We really enjoyed our stay Kasbah Agounsane!

It was a long walk to town

Beautiful views of the olive groves. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely lobby and grounds. Spacious room. Nice to be a bit out of town and take a walk along the road towards the neighboring village.

The views from the property were great. We booked a superior suite and the suite we got didn’t match our expectations however due to a problem with the water, we received keys to a much nicer suite. The proximity to the mountains is great. We saw more stars than we’d ever seen so the views are unmatched.

The images on booking.com for a superior suite didn’t match the suite we were given. I think they should amend the images they use. The second suite was much better and more like what we’d expected.

Wonderful location with amazing views over the plain of Marrakech. A very relaxing place to stay with friendly staff who make your stay just that little bit better.As a vegan I found the food to be excellent. A limited choice but it was quality over quantity all the way. The vegetable tagine was one of the best I have had in my many stays in Morocco. The salads were exceptional, whether it was the Marocain, Assortement or the Quinoa, absolutely top quality.We stayed in one of the deluxe suites and it was a large and comfortable room..

If I was going to nitpick, I just wish the pool was heated but that really is it.

I've been told that flower surprise for my gf birthday wasn't possible. When we arrived at the room there were rose petals and candles in the floor and it was all pretty but our receptionist simply switched on the lights and walk in the room and us behind him... A bit of finesse and attention to details was missing.

Amazing views from the terrace, in the evening and in the morning. Very kind and friendly and staff.
