Locanda Tradate

1) Open and easy-going owner/receptionist lady. 2) Clean towels, flip-flops, and many storage space for your belongings.3) Free parking spots are available on the street right in front of the Locanda doors.

1) Make sure to advise the property about your arrival time in advance, because the owners/receptionists are not always there. 2) The walls are super thin, and you can hear everything that your neighbors are doing in the next room. 3) The cleanliness of the bathroom could be better. I saw a few little spots on the toilet seat. But I easily removed them with just a wet wipe. So the bathroom is not being properly disinfected after each use by guests. However, everything else in the room and bathroom was clean, with no problems.

AWARE! This is not worth a single Euro !!! The Location is as dirty as you can only imagine, the owner is not available upon arriving and everything is close to a really good nightmare experience!

We found ourselves in Locanda Tradate by chance. Our plane was cancelled and we needed to find a place to stay overnight. We didn't have time to study reviews, it was just the first hotel in the list that Booking showed. Even though we arrived very late - at about 1 am, we were warmly welcomed, and owber did her best to help us with the taxi for the next day, which unexpectedly turned out to be a quest in Tradate. The room felt very cosy, the bed was comfortable, what else can you ask for after half a day spent in the airport waiting for your flight?

When we arrived there was no sign showing there's a hotel there, only a closed resraurant. So at first we felt at a loss, before the owner got out to let us in. But we arrived much later than they would normally expect guests, so probably this is a problem only if you arrtive that late.

We chose this hotel because it is located over the Ristorante Tradante, so we could easily enjoy dinner there while the kids were sleeping upstairs. The dinner and therefore the location was fabulous!! Staff lovely and very attentive. Rooms were simple but clean.

It was quite a hot night and there was no air con / fans (we didn't ask for fans as we did't realise until later, so not sure if they are on location).
