mattress was good. Breakfast was reasonable.

room only for 1. Air cond starts July 1. Don't stay on parking lot side. Was to stay a few nights but checked out after 1.

Room was comfortable enough for the price paid and considering the 2*. The breakfast was good. The parking in front is large. Staff was friendly and in general was ok for a single night stop on the way.

Some strange things like: the toilet seat is higher than usual, and difficult to use for smaller people (like my wife and daughter). There is only one nightstand in a 3 bed room, and you miss a place to put your phone/glasses etc.

It was a basic stop over on the drive home. The best bit was that it was near an excellent restaurant. Breakfast was OK.Calling it the Hotel Premier when it fully lived up to its 2 star rating was hilarious.

It was supposed to be a non-smoking hotel, but this was ignored by other guests and my room was contaminated by the disgusting stench of cheap tobacco.

Quiet location, clean, equipped with all basic necessities.

Pillow on the bed too high/big. You sit instead of laying.

Very nice hotel, extremely clean, very nice choice for breakfast. Staff where friendly and professional. Very good value for money. I would highly recommend.

Room and Bathroom was good for the price. Breakfast room was nice and Breakfast very good. Enough parking space and quiet, even it is close to the hightway. We found also a nice pub in 10 min walking distance.

we couldn't make the check in time due to a closing of the highway, because of an bad accident. I phoned the number they provided, but no one was answering. Only a machine which gave another number to phone. That number was so hard to understand for a non native french speaker, that i had to listen to it 20 times and didn't understand the last number correct. I even ask other people to help me who spoke better french than me, but they had the same issue. After writing emails they phoned me after 2 hours and gave me the code to get into the room.

Just staying on the safe side: Hotel Mercure for 103 Euro, staff was very helpful.

The way of property access code communicated. Instead of sending an SMS they send me an e-mail, while we were at Mont Sant-Michael (Sic!), to call (!) them in their(!) business hours(!) to get the code. With this effort they could send me even the access code as well.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise on our way home from Brittany. We needed a driving break, and this hotel was right next to the highway. There is much less noise than one would expect. The price was also very fair. The room was clean and the staff nice.

Good

When booking the room, check-in time until 20:00 was stated. However, on the day of arrival, at 6:40 p.m., the reception called us to say that we had to arrive by 7:00 p.m., as the reception closes after that, and they refused to wait for us, even though we were approximately 30 km from the hotel. This made the situation quite complicated for us, we didn't count on it in our travel plans. We managed to get there, but at the cost of a speeding fine :-(

It was reasonably cheap.

The room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. It wasn't very clean. All towels smelled of food, even though they looked clean. The coffee dispenser in the hallway was empty. Altogether not a pleasant experience.

Room was small but adequate with enough storage space. Ensuite bathroom and toilet were clean. Good choice of (continental) breakfast, with good coffee. Female staff in the morning were pleasant and welcoming.

Location in a rather grotty and unkempt area of Forbach adjacent to the motorway (so some motoway noise) was not easy to find because my (updated) GPS didn't find the "house" number advertised. Male on duty at reception in the evening didn't have the right attitude for a front-of-house customer-facing role. Mumbled his (French) words though he knew he was speaking to a foreigner, told me the bare minimum (e.g. no hints about where to eat locally). The building needs sprucing up on the outside - the cladding needs to be cleaned: first impressions are important.

Only used the room to sleep overnight. The room and building was located in a very quiet area. Access to hotel and room was easy.

Reception was not open when we arrived. Snack dispenser needed repair. TV program could have had at least one english speaking program, e.g. CNN.

For my purpose, the location was good, I just needed to sleep in that area. There is a grocery and sports shop in a walking distance. Breakfast was good. It was quiet and I slept well.

There was no one available until 5pm, the confirmation number I had wouldn't open the door so I had to kill time in the cold (I ended up visiting the sports store). No restaurants in the area. The room is small, no desk.

Very well located not far from the motorway. Very clean and quiet place! Excellent for overnight stop.
