Pros +
- Very little
- The location is great as you are in the directly in the city center. It was great to have the option to park the car as it is difficult to find parking spaces in the city. The staff is very nice and helpful. The room is big enough and clean.
- The hotel is newly renovated and has really nice modern rooms. Very fresh.
Cons -
- Parking was a problem, no direct entrance to the hotel from the very small parking area, the breakfast was very poor, the breakfast room was about as inviting as a deserted train station.
- The room was very noisy as one could hear the ventilation system (in the bathroom) of the room and the next room. The windows are not well isolated and my room was on the street-side which was very noisy (car passing by all the time). The noise from the street subsided later at night but the room was still very noisy because of the ventilation system noise. Take earplugs if you are noise sensitive like me.
- We were promised breakfast, but renovation was not finished when we arrived, so the first 2 days we had to get breakfast at the "Hotel Sprenz" across the road. There the breakfast was really good. We tried the breakfast at our hotel one day when the cantina opened again, but the floorplan of the cantina was bad and we had to que a lot for food that was not as good as in Hotel Sprenz, so we went back for the remaining time. Also the people in the reception seems very tired and were not very outgoing. We really prefer the "Hotel Sprenz" in this matter aswell. Very friendly and outgoing people working there.

Check-in process was easy and fast, really nice when traveling with small kids and arriving late at night.
The room was big enough for a family of 4 and super clean. The breakfast area is small but it has everything you need.
Clean, good wifi, friendly staff, sufficient equipment
- a small fridge would be nice- the mattress was too soft (maybe sagging?)
the Airconditioning system was perfect
the bathroom had black stains on the tiles and wasn’t too hot
The hotel is rather run down and need some serious cleaning. The entrance area stinks of cigarets and the outside is dirty with cigaret buts and broken bear bottles.
The place is very rundown.
The location. The shower's water pressure was amazing.
Not cealn, vomiting smell! And uncomfortable pillows. No complimentary coffee or tea.
Convenient, a short walk from the bus station, great communication via booking.com. Clean, everything required is available.
super-friendly and chilled staff. very clean. excellent breakfast.
just that the room was a bit small.
good parking facilities, good location
room right on the street. loud at night and people looked straight into our room during the day. stay at the back would have been better.
The location of the hotel allows you to get to it from the train station either on foot (it's less than 1 km) or on many buses and not for long (2 stops). Breakfast is expensive - 8.5 euros - I did not take it, but there was a machine with tea, coffee and two types of soup, and a machine with bottled cold drinks.
The street where the hotel is located is quite busy with traffic. There is also a smoking place right on the street and at the entrance to the hotel, but it would be better to have it in the yard so that you don’t have to dress like going out for a smoke break.
The hotel was just what we needed for our short stopover in Oldenburg. The on-site car parking was excellent and the buffet style breakfast was good if a little more expensive than we would have liked.
The cost of the breakfast
A nice comfortable stay for a short visit in Oldenburg, Room is comfy enough for a family stay.
clean, easy walking distance to centre and station.
arrived late as flight delayed. no staff and no option to book breakfast for the following morning. in the morning I asked staff if I could have breakfast and was told no. I should have booked the day before. not very friendly especially as I am an older person travelling on my own.
The breakfast was excellent. Good value for money and the staff are very friendly.
For the shower, a shower mat (anti-slippery) would be perfect!
Great location, friendly staff, decent breakfast buffet, free parking.
Warm room and loud street with open window.
It was a nice hotel, near the city centre with exceptional service and clean rooms
There was nothing that I didn't like
The room was large enough for three, although there were only two of us. It was very clean. The breakfast was good and all you can eat, but it did cost extra. The location was excellent. We walked from the railway station in only a few minutes. The hotel was also good for walking into the city.
The entrance lobby area was small and we had to wait in a queue for quite a while, which wasn't so good with Covid about.
