The location. The restaurant...great menu, especially for vegetarians/vegans. A very warm welcome from the staff.

Restaurant wasnt open and there was no information about it; “am see” is completely not correct because there is is just a little ugly pool. There were issues with staff because i was told the hotel is paid so i assumed it was charged to my credit card but then for days i was chased with emails but payment…

Breakfast and lunch/dinner (restaurant) are great. Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean. Very easily accessible from the Autobahn and the area is nice and quiet.

Good location close to the highway, just outside Regensburg and close to Walhalla monument. We had a spacious, clean room in the annex building, but there was no elevator. The room had no air conditioning, it was extremely warm in our room.There is a very nice and cozy restaurant terrace at the hotel. the food was good. The number of free parking spaces is very limited.The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very extensive and varied, great!

We had dinner at the restaurant the evening we arrived, and I was disappointed with the food we chose, so I was expecting a similar experience with breakfast. However, the breakfast was very good, something I didn’t expect in. The coffee was from an automatic machine but was really good, unlike most other hotels. There was also a machine to prepare fresh juice from apples or carrots. The hotel has three buildings, and we were not in the main one, but it was newly built or renovated with modern, nice furniture. Compared to other hotels, there was enough lighting in the bathroom. We had a family room on the first floor, but it wasn’t noisy, even though we were close to the parking. There were lots of charging stations in the parking area. There's a nice park with a lake where you can go for a walk. Convenient if you're travelling by car from the main motorway.

I wish the restaurant menu offered more options for people who aren’t local and would like something different from German food.

The location is very convenient, close to highway but peaceful, next to a small lake.Breakfast was amazing, best homemade chia pudding I've tried. The breakfast is the reason for the rating I am giving, otherwise would be lower.

There was no air conditioning in our room, which was a problem because we stayed there in August, it was very hot in the room. We were on the ground floor, the noise when somebody is walking on the stairs or next to a room is quite loud.The only possibility to eat breakfast was outside and there were so many wasps, we couldn't enjoy breakfast properly because they were flying around us.

The rooms don't have AC so we had to keep the windows open and the windows were 10cm away from the parked cars (engine facing towards the room, at exactly the same level), so at 6 AM we were woken up by the cars that were leaving....so very dangerous to leave tired as we did.The beds were also not comfortable, very soft to our liking The breakfast was decent

Not easy to find the entrance door, checked in late and there was no sign for access to locker box, etc as the main entrance was closed. Managed to find the other door after phone call and talk for about 10 minutes

Arrived at around 8pm on Saturday, counting on a nice Bavarian dinner, only to find out that the restaurant is closed - apparently during the whole month of August. This was not advertised, and on contrary, all the emails we received from the property before our arrival, indicated that the restaurant is open until 10 pm every day. Since we were traveling with a little kid, we were very disappointed. Even more disappointing was the reaction of the staff, who were borderline rude, claiming that it is a known fact that the restaurant is closed in August. The staff was not even helpful in locating a restaurant close by that was open, claiming that everyone is on holidays in this town, and just basically pointed us to look something for ourselves in the town centre. No, it is not a normal practice that a hotel next to a highway, closes its restaurant for a whole month. This is not acceptable I assume for many travellers, and if we knew this, we would have never booked this hotel.

The breakfast buffet had a good variety, with a terrace overlooking the small lake. Lovely way to start the day! The mini fridge in the room was a welcome surprise aswell ?

The room was a bit outdated but clean. Parking is limited, but for €4 a night you can park your car on a parking lot with video surveillance.

no A/C in the room and it was over 30 degrees, impossible to sleep. and they did not tell us that there will be no A/C in the room.

The location is quite close to the A3 highway, making it great for a stopover -it's far enough you don't actually hear the traffic. Room was spacious and seemed clean, was not noisy. Fridge in the room was helpful because travelling with small child. Nice bathroom. Easy access to car. Good breakfast. In the end it was a pleasant enough place to spend a night, but with barely any interaction with the personnel it didn't feel great.

The hotel has two main locations, which can be confusing. It was quite busy at our arrival, at least, four gentlemen were checking in an apparently that had to take forever. The person hosting the reception seemed friendly enough, but not very authorative, focusing on the fussy four rather than on the extra guest who had a short question - and a family waiting in the car. In the end she handed over the room key while skipping any further procedure - great for me after waiting for 15 or so minutes, but still odd. Parking the car was a thing too - there are plenty of spots, but mostly for electric cars. The hotel has a separate parking lot behind the second location, but we never learned how to access it. In the end used a spot for electric cars. The beds were quite soft to the point of being not supportive enough, with a creaky, rather hard sofabed as an alternative - for some reason already pulled out and made. It ended up being a bit of an anonymous experience, which was made weirder by personnel clad in traditional outfits - you'd expect something a bit more welcoming. Perhaps we just had an unlucky moment, and to be sure, the interactions that we did have were friendly enough.
