Restaurant top
Spa access is 16 above, I understand. Nonetheless if you allow families with kids you need to allow access to the outdoor pool. This is a very very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience. Need to change this
Free parking is provided.
Unfortunately, our recent experience at this property was disappointing, especially regarding the restaurant and spa services.Restaurant:The quality of the dinner service was below expectations. The food was served cold and poorly cooked. Despite requesting bread three times—once to the maître and twice to different waitresses—it never arrived. Breakfast was equally underwhelming, with limited variety and mediocre quality. Guests had to request coffee from the staff and wait nearly ten minutes to receive it. Additionally, on our last morning, there was no orange juice available because it had run out—something we find unacceptable in a hotel of this category.Spa:The spa was significantly overcrowded, making it impossible to relax. Many guests were leaving towels on the relaxation deck chairs to “reserve” them while using other facilities, thus preventing others from accessing the space. Unfortunately, no staff members were monitoring or managing this situation. Furthermore, we observed guests smoking, again without any staff intervention.
Really a wonderful hotel highly recommend. Ended up extending our stay by one night. Absolutely gorgeous spa. Really nature fused and luxurious with a gorgeous heated pool and sauna room facing the mountains. Restaurant was excellent - great service and taste. The bathroom and balcony to our room was lovely modern and peaceful. There is a sort of spa scent in the corridor. The only small note is about the rooms. The bed was great and everything was clean and warm but there were a few marks on the walls which meant upkeep could be slightly better. Just small little fixes! But truly this should be a 5 star hotel. Lovely attentive staff. Also the breakfast is great and better than some prestigious five star hotels we have stayed at.
The property was very clean and the staff were simply amazing. They upgraded our room, which was modern and functional. The spa was simply exceptional - rarely have I been to such a nice spa (even in 5 star hotels). The fact that the stay gives you complimentary access to it makes the Hotel such a gem. Lastly, their restaurant AROMA is incredible. Excellent food, well trained staff and a great price point. All in all the stay was fantastic, they even allowed for a 30 minute late checkout which was appreciated. If I could give a very small advice to the hotel it would be to cover up chips on the walls and these little imperfections in the room. It would boost them up even more to what is already a great hotel-spa combo.
Location, very friendly staff, facilities
From room to Spa easy access.
the sink was clogged, the water drained very slowly.there were a few cobwebs near the windows in the restaurant
Very beautiful facility with a very calm wellness area.Everything was clean and the location is great for relax
Staff was generally friendly and professional, as you would expect in this category. Rooms were super clean and the spa quite spacious. Breakfast Buffet offered a good selection of high quality products.
There is not enough room in the spa lounge area during peak hours (basically all afternoon) because people are allowed to reserve their lounge chairs all day, even if they are away for treatment/in the spa. Also, the Aroma Restaurant was a big disappointment: Chaotic service (wrong plates brought to wrong tables, exruciating long waiting times to be attended/having to wave at waiters to get attention, food reaching our table luke warm) and really disappointing food/taste. We cancelled our remaining dinner reservations and ate more tasty food with more personal service anywhere else in Bergamo. Also, no nespresso/coffee options in the room and not even a toothbrush set (or glass to put your own tootbrush in!) - unheard of in this price category in my experience & unfortunately all these points will prevent us from returning to Piajo Resort - there are just too many other very good travel options for the money in this time and age.
The hotel services, infrastructure, food and beverages and the staff are incredible, Antonio took care of us.with such a personal touch, he made us feel at home.
The only thing I would add softer pillows
Incredible location. Fantastic spa. Tasty and sophisticated food. Highly recommended!
-beautiful hotel with wonderful sights all over and superb rooms-the spa and the pool are fabulous-extremely tasty and varied breakfast-very nixe staff
Great spa facilities with a heated outdoor pool. Nice view from the room down the valley. Very attentive staff who helped with dinner reservations, ordering breakfast boxes, etc. We stayed just one night before traveling from Bergamo airport but would enjoy more time at the place.
The dinner at the restaurant, though of excellent quality, was quite expensive - 152 euros for 2 courses for 2 people with 2 glasses of wine.
Stunning resort, the interior design is fantastic. Spa itself is great and very clean. Staff are very helpful. Food at the restaurant is delicious - lots of little complimentary items included. Rooms are lovely and very quiet which is perfect for relaxing.
Difficult to get to without a car however to be expected for the exclusivity. Closest public transport is Nembro Centro tram station and it’s a 25min walk uphill from there which is fine if you don’t have suitcases and nice weather/during daylight as no street lighting. Thankfully we were able to organise transport with the hotel for a small fee (many thanks to Antonio, Ettone and Mateo)
Really lovely spa without too many people in it
Evening dinner at the restaurant was a little average for the price
An absolutely fantastic hotel and spa – we were very surprised by how well-maintained everything is and how beautifully the hotel is built. The spa is a story in itself; it's large and spacious, offering everything you could wish for in terms of relaxation and enjoyment.
Compared to the other hotels we visited on our trip to Italy in the same price range, the breakfast was a bit disappointing. The juice was concentrate, not freshly pressed. We weren’t asked if we wanted more coffee or tea, and the selection of bread and breakfast items was not as extensive as one would expect from a hotel in this class and price range.
Beautiful pool area with with a very modern Spa. Amazing treatments and very friendly staff in the JoSpa. Food in the Aroma Restaurant was also exceptionally tasty.
Unfortunately price value has not been met - the room is ok but for the price nothing special, the staff in the full hotel, especially in the service around the restaurant was radiating stress at all time, no friendly smiles and feeling of relaxation in a relax hotel. On top, no umbrellas at the pool which means zero shade under brutal hot Italien sun, don’t get me wrong I like the sun but everybody needs some shade at some point in time during the day.
Everything, the staff was kind. The location was perfect for me. The Spa employees were top! Food at Aroma was great. Breakfast was fantastic! We really enjoyed ourselves!
