Hotel of thieves

The order have included WiFi in our room.But there was no WiFi in our room.After a few complaines, we were promised a partial refund which we haven't got to this day.This is hotel of liares and thieves, please do not support them.

Lovely and comfortable, close to public transport and staff were super helpful

We were here for a 70th birthday celebration. Accommodations were clean , comfortable and very quiet . Very close to the old town . Breakfast was very good ! Staff were nice too!

The breakfast was wonderful / perfect. Everything I wanted. The welcome on arrival was great and the guy greeting me extremely helpful. The room was quiet, which is very important to me. The lighting in the room was great. It was warm when I arrived but not overheated. I was able to open the window in the night. The storage space was great and there was a safe for valuables. The bathroom was perfect with two hairdryers. I had a writing table, which I really appreciated. There was a great mirror in the room and a shoehorn. The hotel was walking distance from the train station (15-20 minutes). It's near the town centre. The restaurant prices and dishes looked good, although I didn't eat there this time. All in all, it was a perfect stay for me. I shall definitely be returning. It will be my first choice.

The wifi was a bit weak in my room and it was difficult to connect to.

Good location walking distance to town, breakfast was typical German fair with a good amount of choices. Definitely difficult for anybody gluten-free since it’s mostly breads and pastries, but that’s Germany…

Room was small and dark, walls scuffed. A lot of noise from upstairs. We weren’t sure if we were hearing people directly upstairs or if it was everybody walking/running up and down the hallway. But started early in the morning and also late in the evening.

Really very nice hotel! Nice location, nice rooms, friendly staff and very good breakfast. There is restaurant directly in the same house.

The shower was great, with good water pressure.Big room with loads of space, small balcony.Great location for those travelling with dogs - walks close by.

Room - it's super dated, it's brown in colour and in dirt.Bathroom - needs a really good clean. The shower head and floor need a proper clean.There are remnants of food on the carpet and other fixtures and fittings.Holes in the wall, a bandaid holding the remote control together - just a real dingy, dirty room.Room 12 is situated very close to the restaurant and the exit.The staff used the exit door as their main smoking point which banged loudly as they came in and out which was frequent.The smell of smoke was not pleasant. We mentioned the dirty room in the morning when we left but they were not interested.We ate in the restaurant the night before, the food was quite good but the staff were quite rude.

The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Great location near town square and quiet which is always a bonus. Would stay again.

Carpets need replacing.

Arrival and parking was a bit complicated as the location is not easy to find. Wifi not working.

Worst experience I ever had with a hotel. I will try to cut this story short. Be extra careful with them and your reservation, we came after 4 hours of driving to Germany, this hotel said they will be waiting for us and they just ignored our paid reservation!! We agreed on later check in via phone and they said we will have self check in prepared. We even came 20 min earlier than we expected and nobody answered, opened. After this horrible experience they are not picking our calls and did not even apologize, I have many friends who speak german and they called, hotel hang up after they said our name or booking number. This is very rude and not professional at all, I worked in a hotel and this is just not the way you treat hosts. We booked this place 6 days before coming and they knew we will be coming around 11pm. It even says reception is open until midnight on the door. They just do not care!!! How can you just ignore a host coming to your hotel with valid and paid reservation and then not even pick up a phone or just hang up. No apology no money back. We had to find a hotel in a very small town in a middle of the night. Was not easy at all. Shame on you Kuntsmuhle.

not what we were expecting … disappointing

I was expecting better. I was expecting to stay in a much nicer hotel room - like the ones according to the images on the web. We were given a room in the ‘other building’ couple of meters further down the road.not in the main hotel building! It reminded me of a hostel - still old with maroon carpets and nothing like the images.This wouldn’t normally be so bad if it wasn’t for the nightly rate which I think is far too much for what you’re getting!! We’ve stayed in over 15 places now in the past 3 weeks of visiting Europe (including. UK & Germany) and this has by far been our biggest (and only) let-down!Several items were broken in the room. The Sleeper couch for one - it had to be supported on wooden blocks because the centre support was missing - so you slept with your legs running slightly down. The lampshade next to the bed was broken off its light fitting. The toilet roll holder broken and the extractor fan in the bathroom wasn’t working properly either which is a problem when there is no window.Marks on the walls in the bathroom that should be cleaned - and I found an old sock next to my bed which made me question how well the cleaning or lack of, really is…On my booking description it said family room with river view. Our view was of the back of other apartments… I’m not usually one to complain and am always generous with my ratings - but this time I cannot ignore our huge disappointment. Had the rate been lower- I could’ve accepted the flaws. Should you want to stay at Hotel Kunstmühle, just make sure you do get to stay in the main hotel - and not the ‘other building’.

we stay here almost every year when we do a roadtrip with the motorcycles.so we know the hotel and the possibilities.

we had no restaurant in the hotel and the garage was not accessible. this was due to the overflowing rain and flood. but they helped us to eat in a closer restaurant

We stayed only one night for transit. The property is nice, clean and our room was quiet. We had dinner in the restaurant, food was tasty but be careful because the portions are huge. Breakfast was good too. Overall a good choice.

We arrived in the evening and the hotel has only a few parking places, all were taken. We parked in a public parking close to hotel(Sunday is free). Reception is in the restaurant, the lady who was supposed to be the receptionist was missing, the waiters helped us. A bit pricey, it could be a good deal with breakfast included in the price.

Warm esp in restaurant obviously good thing be home again , toaels head board on bed was great.curtains and blind river fresh air .quiet.water and glass like listed building .dont smoke you get banned from place fair enough as it costs heaps to clean room up .its dark enough to sleep.i had yo watch water in my shower .soap is there .duvet warm enough.downstairs has coffee .i i cant remember if you can come go all night i doubt it i was stiff after travelling so walked about town .i found it much easier to breath here.its very quiet.when i was there.

No complaints

The location was excellent and the town of Mindelheim well worth a look. We had dinner at the restaurant with the family and this was also very good.

As we had parked in front of the much more visible guest house, we had difficulty finding the reception which is in the restaurant. A sign on the door of the guesthouse might be useful.The walls in the room had lots of stains and skid marks which could use a lick of paint.

Norhing

Service. There is no information that the room is 250 meters from the given location. I lost time unpacking my luggage and looking for a room. There is a stench upon entering the room. The walls are dirty.

Clean and well furnished room with heating, comfortable bed and linen. Friendly staff, great dining and tasty breakfast.

The noise from downstairs penetrated but it was bearable.

The rooms are big and located just above the canal which makes for a very relaxing view in the morning. Breakfast was very nice with a good selection.

One of the wardrobe doors was broken, which made it unusable. The sofa bed was not very comfortable to sleep.
