Quiet, good value and good breakfast

Very polite staff, very tasty breakfast.

I did not have a towel in the room when I arrived.

Shared bathroom. Noise in corridor and neighbor, heater with water moving inside.Breakfast very rustic.

Outworn furniture, no insulation, heating off, extremely cold.

The room was very clean, but very very basic

Nobody to meet us, keys left in lock box, advertised with restaurant and bar but was all closed down, very noisy with windows open, no air con, old beds not very comfortable. Rooms felt like an old B and B from the 1970’s and have not changed much since.

Very basic room set up, micro fibre towels, no TV, no tea/coffee facilities. Double room requested and two single beds were simply pushed together, not even made up as a double bed.

It is close to train/bus stops. There is a supermarket in walk distance. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a restaurante downstairs. The breakfast is basic but decent.

The wifi was not working. I had to go to the reception to get a password for a different wifi connection, which worked. The room is very old, and there is no socket near the bed.

Friendly host with fast reaction to requests. Extremely clean and well organized place. The location is very good and the parking is very convenient.

The Wi-Fi was partially available in the room. In the areas closer to the main building.

The place is fine if you just need a place to sleep and have breakfast near Zürich for work and have a car to move around. It is closed to the lake and a 10 min walk from Horgen train station. The breakfast was good and it was clean.

It is kind of old in the sense that some of the rooms do not have toilet, some not even a shower. Of course, you know it in advance when you book, but the rooms are really "tight" and some of the furniture are quite old.

This unpretentious hotel offers quiet rooms with lake views and a decent breakfast at hard to beat rates. The host is agreeable and flexible, arranging for late arrivals thanks to a key lockbox. Horgen can very easily be reached by S-Bahn from Zurich, and there are busses to the station 2x/hour passing right in front of the hotel.
