Slight old smoke smell in the rooms and the street is busy.

The view of the lake was absolutely stunning, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere after a long day of driving. The service was excellent and the staff were attentive and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it easy to unwind after a long day.

My room was not as clean as expected.

Twice in 2 days only cold water in the shower. Especially after a long trip this was a little disappointing.

Great waterfront hotel. We had a nice room with a beautiful view of the lake, large bathroom, clean comfortable beds. Staff are wonderful! Best breakfast and fabulous dining area, beautifully decorated. Short train ride from Zurich HB main station to Meilen station, then you can walk to hotel (10min. walk) or take the 925 bus just outside the station to the bus stop just before the hotel (Obermeilen stop). Quiet area with not too many stores or restaurants but easy enough to get a train wherever you want to go.

Location is beautiful and most important in a quiet area. Hotel as such is a quaint nice cosy place. Hotel serves a good breakfast.

Booked two adjacent rooms. One room was comfortable enough but the other was not up to standard for such a place. Bathroom sink and mirror were totally uncomfortable. Bed was not even a proper bed but a divan with a mattress. Perhaps because I needed the rooms to be adjacent.

Location on the lake and communication via email before arrival.Also the staff in charge of breakfast was excellent, careful and attentive.

No elevators to carry suitcases. No refrigerators in the room to keep medicines that need to be called. The lady doing the check in the day that we arrived was very unpleasant.

The room had an amazing view of the lake and I loved it. This is a good place to relax and walking distance to train station. This hotel also has a good breakfast and restaurant.

Beautiful, charming hotel just outside of Zurich, with spectacular views of Lake Zurich. It was clean and comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was wonderful. Unfortunately, it was raining, so we couldn't spend much time on the terrace, but I can imagine that it would have been lovely to do so. The boat dock was conveniently located just in the rear of the hotel. There were plenty of stores and restaurants in the area and if you venture up the road, other villages to explore. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Parking was available on the street but it was a bit of a walk to get to our car. The property offered a coffee maker in the room, which unfortunately leaked on the floor. All minor issues - we would stay again and again.

Beautiful and calm surroundings. I stayed in both lake and city view and both were great. Very kind and accommodating staff.

Would have loved a mini fridge as I was traveling for work and needed somewhere to keep a cold beverage or snack.

Great location on the lake and close to town. Friendly staff. Excellent restaurant. Newly refurbished rooms with good confort level.

Room too hot throughhout both nights with no way to individually regulate the temperature. Worse, one alarm started in the corridor during the first night around 1 am and lasted more than 1 hour before it was stopped seriously interrupting our rest. Nobody was on site to do anything about it for too long.

We were hoping to spend a romantic time in a beautiful place, we wanted a lake view, which made the room price even more expensive, but the room looked very tired and there was not even a lamp on the ceiling. What a shame. The only beautiful experience was the lake view.

Very welcoming; room was ready early for us. The whole hotel and our room was clean, bright and very well looked after. The staff are delightful, nothing is too much trouble. The lake views are beautiful and the terrace is a wonderful place to sit for drinks or a meal. We had two meals in the hotel during our short stay and the food is first class. Complimentary buffet breakfast is very plentiful and had everything you could possibly need to start your day. It is a 15 minute walk to the station and trains run regularly and on time, making it very easy to get around Zurich. We would highly recommend.

The decor, location and breakfast was very good

Wifi connection was terminated at 11:00 when vacating the room. It would have been useful to have it for a couple of hours afterwards whilst relaxing on the terrace. Cost of local taxi, booked by the hotel, back to the airport cost £169 which I thought was too expensive!!

It has a beautiful terrace for having breakfast or lunch.Room heating you can regulate by yourself.Shower space narrow, but good. Good breakfast

Old world charm like a bed and breakfast

The bed was incredible! Comfy and big (we were in Room 25). Breakfast was of high quality and small in the selection, the French music playing in the background transported us to Paris. MARIO helped us to print out some papers, the rest of the staff we interacted with very pleasant! (expect for a person from the cleaning team that entered our room at 12:00 after knocking 1 time on the door).

All was great, can highly recommend.

We loved the beautiful building, the manager was very kind and the breakfast was great!

The bath in the bathroom wasn't cleaned every day.
