Pros +
- Very nice, simple and clean.
- Very clean simple accommodation.
- No frills Hotel that was easy to find and well located for a stopover. The staff member on Reception was very friendly, spoke good English and recommended places to visit and where to eat.
Cons -
- Very dark when arriving at night, it looked like it was not open until I walked to the reception in a separate building. Maybe put on some outside lights!
- The check-in was too late for us. I didn’t realize there was such a thing as a 5pm check-in. No kettle in the room was a surprise as well.
- It was a last minute choice. I have said all I want to say.

The bnb was absolutely basic and the room was really small for two adults and a dog. The toilet was particularly small and cramped. However it was absolutely clean and the single beds, rather too close together, were clean and comfortable. The receptionist was pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was also absolutely basic 'do it yourself' in a room where you help yourself to yogurt, bread, butter, coffee etc. The only hot food was that you could make toast. I felt it was rather pricey for limited choice. Enzo felt rather like a basic student hostel rather than an all-comers hotel. However it was on the edge of town near the countryside and we felt safe. Take-away food was available from McDonalds nearby. We only stayed there on a literally last minute booking, as the previous booking for the same night was in an area that did not feel safe to stay, in a poor area. That area was rough and run down and we could not see any where safe to leave the car.
It was a last minute choice. I have said all I want to say.
Comfortable, clean, good value, very well laid out room with plenty of space. Would book again if needed a stop in area. Liked having McDonald's next door (as hotel didn't do food). Well lit room unlike some similar hotels
Only one pillow each, only one stool in a room for 2 people
This is the 2nd time we have stayed here en route to Eurotunnel. The staff are always really friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious compared to other similar style hotels. It is just off the main road around Chartres, so very easy for travelling and has plenty of parking. We didn't eat breakfast as had to leave so early so can't comment on that. Very good value for money as a one night stop off.
Location OK. Breakfast poor even for a continental breakfast.
Breakfast poor. Ran out of coffee, milk, apples bruised, no orange juice, yoghurt, eggs and hardly any bread or croissant at 8.30.No tea making facilities in the room.Toilet too small for convenience! No extra pillows when requested
The hotel staff were excellent, responsive helpful and friendly. They made a mediocre overnight stop into a very acceptable one.
size of the toilet almost impossible to use with the door shut!
I used this hotel as I needed somewhere to stay after my last hotel l booked was flooded. It was a pleasant stay and the receptionist was very helpful. I
Woulld have been better if there was a kettle and a bedside table would have been helpful
Low price, and ... you get what you pay for ! Having said that it was very basic but decent, and was adequate for a night stop on our way. In particular it was somewhat cleaner than feared. Also, blackout blinds worked well.
Fluorescent lighting. Hard beds. Tiny toilet and bathroom (and tiny room). Location a good 15 min. from Chartres by car, basically in an industrial park where the only thing open is a Macdonald's literally in front of the hotel (where somewhat loud teenagers come until quite late at night for some reason). The breakfast was an extra 10 euro per person and was the most sorry looking hotel buffet I have ever seen - best to go into Chartres and enjoy great traditional French breakfast there.
Easy to get to. Next door to McDonald's.Key safe if late arrivingNice clean room. Parking good.Great for overnite stay. Arrive late leave early in morning
Nothing really. Budget hotel. No extras
It was a stopover on my way to Orleans so a good location just off the main road.
Reception was in complete darkness with door locked. The rooms are very very low budget which for £75 wasn’t great value. Everything was very outdated. Room was in a block opposite McDonald’s. There seemed to be random people using the car park as a meeting spot.
Exactly what you would expect, a clean and comfortable room at a reasonable price, ideal for a mid-journey overnight for solo traveller. Chartres about 4 hour drive from Calais so can be a good stopping off point en route further south.
Macdonalds outlet next door - their customers using hotel car parking....
This cozy boutique hotel is on the river with lovely views. It’s small and intimate and remodeled. The rooms are large and bathrooms are large with high ceilings and a shower and tub. There was a small balcony off our bathroom that we truly enjoyed. The sheets are crisp yet soft and the beds extremely comfortable. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the food is wonderful. We would love to visit again.
We loved everything.
Lovely modern room, comfy bed etc
Toilet was very small.
It was a great location for a stop off on our journey south, situated just off the N1154 ring road around Chartres. We arrived quite late but there was still plenty of parking in the car park. The receptionist was very friendly and directed us to our room. The rooms were a decent enough size with twin beds pushed together. The shower room was clean and plenty of warm water. We were situated at the back of the building which overlooked a field and was quite useful to let the dog out for a wee in the morning. Can't comment on breakfast as we left early, but we would definitely use again for a stop over.
Nothing, it was exactly as we had expected.
The staff were absolutely lovely and helpful, especially Mama. The place was exceptionally clean and we felt safe enough to leave the door wide open while we were in the room so that we could see the beautiful view of the yellow flowers.
The noise of the road and train outside is very loud throughout the night.
Very poor
Tiny single beds. No atmosphere. Next to MacDonalds out of town. We didn’t stay and lost our money.
Room was comfortable and not too warm. Comfortable beds over all had a great sleep
Room clean comfortable shower great, have dog so farm land at rear great for walking dog
Breakfast a let down, no ham, no toaster to make toast, no selection of youget coffee good pastrys good just very little choice
