Located in a small pine wood, the hotel is 1148 feet from Isola di Vulcano's main bay and 0.6 mi from the thermal spa. The scheduled hotel shuttle takes guests to and from the port, 0.9 mi away. Free transfers are provided if booked in advance. All of the simply furnished rooms have cool tiled floors and come with a flat-screen satellite TV, air conditioning, and a small balcony or patio. Each includes a private bathroom complete with soft bathrobes. Breakfast at Orsa Maggiore is Italian style and features local organic products and freshly squeezed Sicilian orange juice. - Very nice room for the price. And a very nice landlord, who also gave a good recommendation for a restaurant with very delicious food. We would love to come again.
- Good with great balcony. Beautiful moon rises. A VERY good breakfast. Great young woman at front desk Fantastic staff, very accommodating. Location close to where you climb to the volano. Fabulous pool Very quiet
- Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting Great views of the Vulcano from the pool. Nice staff. E-bikes were an amazing way to explore the island, handy to have them from the hotel.
Cons -
- Nothing except the dinner was disappointing. Dont waste your time. Wait staff great, however
- Breakfast was good but there couldve been more fruit / healthy cereals.
