    Pros +

    • Specious, bright and very pleasant location.
    • The park and surrounding areas are beautiful. The chalet was well equipped, comfortable and with plenty of outside space that was individual to the chalet. There's plenty for children to do and keep them entertained and it's a very quiet and safe place for them too. Definitely recommended for families. It feels very isolated (in a good way) but is actually close to main roads, a local leisure centre and supermarkets etc.
    • The bedroom was smelly. We always left the window open but never went away. We did not say anything because probably they couldn't do anything. We asked for lights that were not working and a fire on the stove that couldn't switch on a couple of times but we never saw anyone coming. We just realized after a few days that the lights were all working again. Did they enter without telling us anything?

    Cons -

    • Single bed a bit narrow.
    • For me as a wheelchair user, many of the facilities were inaccessible. The gym is upstairs (no lift) and the swimming pool does not have a hoist or changing for disabled people. The ramp to the reception building is too steep and actually dangerous, as it made me tip backward. I could only access with the help of another person, which is very unusual for me. The ramp needs to be shallower. The shower in the accessible chalet was actually not a roll-in one, which is what was advertised. You had to climb out of your wheelchair and do a 180° transfer onto a freestanding shower stool and the shower floor is very slippery. I found this very difficult and dangerous. The bedroom for an adult couple was too small to accommodate my wheelchair too, it was clear that the intention was for the wheelchair user to sleep alone, not with a spouse.
    • You have to empty the bins quite far away and the heating turns off overnight. Tough when it was -7c outside.

Handy for international tennis tourney nearby. Clean and well kept.

You have to empty the bins quite far away and the heating turns off overnight. Tough when it was -7c outside.

They put nice vases and lamps to make the apartment cosy. Bedsheets (that you have to pay extra for) are clean and the overall apartment too. Camp is very quiet and there is a nice swimming and gym.

Already from the start I received so many emails asking to confirm the guests names, paying for deposits, subscribing on their website...emails with broken links and when asked, they never came back to me. They just sent automatic messages but nothing personal in return. Same at the reception: since we did 2 bookings for consecutive periods of time, we were just lucky we could do check-in/check-out at the same time. I asked a week in advance, they said guests of our new apartment would leave on a Friday and our checkout would be the next Saturday. They didn't even even take a second to call the cleaning company to make it possible. Furniture is ruined. Chairs loose small pieces of fake leather on the floor every time you sit on them. There are not enough shelves in the bathroom. Also the opening hours of the gym and swimming pool are quite annoying (9-17). These are all small details but there is so much potential that unfortunately it's not used as well as they could!

    Facilities, space in the cabins

No flexibility about check in, lack of clarity about the deposit and other hidden chargesVery cold at night if staying there in winter- not recommended

Location - close proximity to Lichtenvoorde. Restaurant on property was good.

No airconditioning available. Property got extremely hot. Gym and swimming pool closed very early.

Bowling, Swimming Pool, Well kept structure, The small lakes within the Park. The food at the restaurant.

Hot showers and hairdryers were missing in the indoor swimming pool. Only one restaurant, one more option would have been good.

Great vacation park in a beautiful rural setting. Nice staff, great restaurant and pools.

Pool closed too early on the weekend 4:30. Lots of ants in the accommodation

I had a wonderful stay at this houses. The location was perfect, the room was spacious and spotless, and the restaurant at the territory is great. Great parking zone near each house, as well as a common parking zone at the entrance. Close to the city centre, as well as to the main road.

The staff were so helpful and were quick to find a solution. The house was clean and all the appliances were in working condition. We truly enjoyed our Easter break! The resturant serves great cocktails and finger food.

They could have a small shop with basic necessities. There is a supermarket in the nearby town.

The cleanliness and the layout of the site.

A very small restaurant in relation to the size of the sire

    9DovilePosted on: 7-3-2022

    Almost everything.

Reconstruction which was going on beside our cottage 6 days a week from 7.00 (!) in the morning (and especially rude and screaming workers, who were using bad language...)
