    Pros +

    • Clean bed
    • The hotel is a traditional small town hotel in the Kempen region. We were on a bike tour. While it is old fashioned (as some reviews have mentioned) the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and we received a warm welcome and hearty breakfast.
    • Friendly reception, good location.

    Cons -

    • Old, run down, stains in carpet, mold in shower, towels 10cm away and at level from toilet bowl
    • The mattresses of the beds could have been a little bit more comfy,
    • My stay at this hotel in Kasterlee was, unfortunately, very disappointing. From the start, the experience was unpleasant; there was no welcoming entrance, and I had to enter from the back, which felt more like slipping in through the back door of a pub. Though I was greeted politely and given a few guidelines, there was no mention of any amenities.Upon heading upstairs, it was clear that the hotel had not been updated since my grandmother’s era. The decor was outdated, with worn laminate flooring and furniture that had seen far better days. Entering my room was even hazardous—I actually tripped due to the height difference between the hallway and the room.I tried to relax by taking a bath, but the noise from arguing couples downstairs was so loud that I eventually left during the night. I dropped the keys in the mailbox, only to receive a call the next morning from someone asking in English where I’d left them. For the price they charge, I expected far better.

It’s nothing like the pictures. The room is supper small. The badroom has some mold and the floors cracks. You can hear ur next door neighbors. Breakfast is very minimalistic.

Everything was as expected and advertised, the staff were extremely pleasant and the Hotel was flexible with our timetable. We were out quite late each evening but didn't have any issues accessing our rooms. Local Ammenties are good, being across the road from a supermarket.

There was some construction going on during our stay but the disruption was minimal. The rooms were nice but in part were poorly lit.

The owners were really helpful and pleasant. The hotel is tired and no frills, but charming in its relaxed quirkiness.

Needs updating and the price was a bit steep for the overall presentation.

As a solo travller my single room was fine for me and the bed was comfortable. I was on a cycle tour and my bike was safely stored in the garage overnight. The buffet style breakfast was good too.

A kettle in the room would have been nice so that I could make a cup of tea, but apart from that minor detail, everything was fine.

Small room, but comfortable bed, black out curtains. Staff provided second duvet and pillow on our request and we had a really great nights sleep. Good value for money in this area, as price included parking, wifi and breakfast.

    Small room, but adequate.
