Great location. Nice bedroom. Loved the shower.

Maybe the staff could be friendlier like greet he customers with a smile.

Perfect location. Large apartment(Wasn't what we expected). Very clean.

Poor communication. Wasn't told in advance we were being moved from the main hotel. Not good when one of the party has special needs.No pillows only cushions on the main bed.Lots of noise from upstairs room, probably due to wooden floors.Asked to pay hotel bill on our return home, despite already paying on arrival. No apology given.

excellent location in centre of the beautiful town of Dockum. The room was comfy, clean and spacious. There was a good continental breakfast with attentive waiting staff.

Access to the rooms through a dark passage and the open mesh flooring outside the rooms.

absolutely nothing, the staff was incredibly rude, they double charged - they charged locally and through the booking source....staff felt that a ground floor room that required stairs to access the door and garden with no elevator was a handicap accessible room for an elderly man in a wheelchair and another amputee. the staff had absolutely no sympathy for either even though the handicap needs were requested months before they still took the reservation and their money-TWICE!!

Overpriced, rooms shower not cleaned….. previous soap and opened shampoo still in shower. Steep stairs that led to cramped 3rd hot 3rd floor room where A/C was inadequate to cool room. Breakfast at$15 each was anemic at best.

Fabulous location. Nice restaurant. Staff were fantastic - I was so grateful - I left a valuable item in the room and the staff kindly posted it back.

Spacious with all what you need

Heating was not working, very important with dutch weather so we were freezing

The property was excellent, only exceeded by the fantastic food served there. The rooms were well furnished and comfortable with all the necessary extras to make for a very enjoyable stay. the food was some of the best I’ve ever eaten and portion sizes very good.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

The location, staff, breakfast, dinner and the whole surrounding was excellent! We found it very pleasant and Dokkum itself is beautiful. We are definitely planning to go back in the summer

The only issue we had was that the floors are a bit thin so you could hear anything and everything. As we are light sleepers that was a bit of an issue but that was seriously the only thing we could find that good be improved.

I recommend the hotel until you need something from them above their daily duties.

The stay itself and the room acceptable by the standards. However, contact with the staff during and after check-out is almost a miracle. If you want to get a company invoice or any response from the hotel, phone calls or e-mails do not give you anything, only repeated requests by the booking.com service bring a measurable effect.

In normal times the location of the hotel is central within the town.

First of all there is nowhere to park anywhere near the hotel. It stated that there was parking but it is basically outside of the town centre and the hotel is in the centre. The main problem with our stay though was the staff and the way they were totally unable or unwilling to help us with anything. There was a concert on that evening outside the hotel. Normally I would take this as a positive and something fun to see. However the staff seemed totally pre-occupied with serving people food and drink and not able to even acknowledge that we even existed, let alone help us. The whole place seemed like an amateur operation from a developing country, not a so-called "boutique hotel" from a country usually very well catered for tourists. Not impressive at all. The owner of the hotel was the one person who was semi-helpful when we managed to get his attention and he was relatively friendly too. I'm prepared to accept that this experience was a one-off due to the concert but I think if the hotel plans to have these events again it should have at least one staff member focused on hotel guests or it should not have guests for this time.
