Just off the motorway, next to fuel, and a restaurant.

Couldn’t fault the stay

Reception staff were very helpful & friendly on our arrival. Our room was cosy, comfortable & very clean. Location was also perfect for us & lots of areas around to walk our dogs. We had a really nice overnight stay.

Nothing not to like

We always have a good stay here on our way to Southern Spain , very comfortable for an overnight stay . We love the fact that it is an Easy On / Off A63 , just minutes . Two restaurants very close by .

As always amazing hotel and for me as I’m always travelling to Spain or Portugal the ideal place for a stop Coming here for 5 years and except for an alcoholic drink I’m always happy to stay there

Useful stopover point. Very basic but clean. Team members helpful, I complained as our room smelt overpowering of dog and we were changed immediately.

On a service station. Food facilities basic and expensive.

Very clean and comfortable beds

The coffee options were limited. Larger coffee sizes would be great

The morning staff were excellent Lift exceptional.

The evening staff, rude , unhelpful. Not professional. Misleading, No hot water.6am till we left at 9.30. No tea making facilities.. old towels

The parking was complicated

Practical for an overnight stay near the motorway with a closed parking area.

We booked a quadruple room, I had to go back to the reception to ask where the fourth (child's) bed was. I was told it was under the single bed and had to get it out myself and there was barely enough room. Not really what you need when you've been driving for 12 hours and just want to fall into bed.

We didn’t get to stay Friday 19th December as the ace hotel & services were ALL closed ! No one thought to notified us off this after a CONFIRMED booking over 6 weeks previously. Booking.Com are the site we used to book so both parties are to blame for no advisory off closure… we drive from Scotland so to arrive to find the closure was nothing short off ridiculous.Have stayed at Ace Bordeaux many times before so no issues with the hotel but issue is not to be told off any closures prior to arrival!!Please also note that we when looking for another hotel that night were still able to book the Ace Bordeaux on Booking.com so why was this possible if closed.McLeod familyScotland

A comfortable room, good shower, and a very good breakfast.

It was as expected.

Hotel easy to find. Lovely walk in shower. Very comfortable bed. Sound proofed very well unable to hear busy motorway outside. Petrol friendly which is a massive bonus. Lovely sized room, plenty of space for our dog beds.

Carpet on the floor not a good idea with dogs on a rainy day and mobility rollator. Would be more practical having hard flooring rather than carpet, much easier to maintain.

The room was comfortable and clean. The staff are very friendly.

Breakfast options are a bit light! Could do with more variety!

We had no aircon and we were told 'this switched off due to the season was over'. The room was super hot that we had to keep the window open facing the motoway, which had relatively easy access from the front of the hotel. It was noisy and just overall not pleasant.If the hotel advertises that they have aircon, this should be switched on regardless of the time of year.Pillow were so uncomfortable! Very thin and cheap quality! Had a bad neck the next day.We didn't not go back to this hotel on the return home.

Location ideal stopover. Great for dogs, good walks.

Dogs not allowed in eating area (breakfast).

I only liked the fact that is was the only hotel available in Bordeaux and I found a place to stay. But I think it should be to stars. Bad staff and service.

There was an ac in the room but they didnt let us turn it on even if it was warm. It was blocked and then when I asked they said not possible because not summer anymore. So squared. I booked hotel for it and it was warm. The staff was rude.
