    Pros +

    • We had a five minute walk to breakfast - a restaurant near the abbey. The breakfast was stunning in presentation and taste. We had tiramisu for desert (at breakfast!) along with some kind of white, milk and dark chocolate treats. Only in Europe!
    • - Beautiful & peaceful location - Good breakfast - Even the building is located next to the church but no bell ring during the night
    • Nice location and good breakfast

    Cons -

    • - No staff. No information for check in & how to get breakfast even I asked to send the details in advance. I have to take a look by myself in other guest comments and we are lucky to met another guest when we arrived so they told us where to get the key.- The mattress and pillows is not suitable for people with allergies
    • Room , bathroom were not so comfortable. The shower cabin had fungus
    • Poor Wi-Fi connection (not capable of a video-call), complicated check-in procedure (had to wait for someone from staff), limited free parking space, squeaky floors in a room and the fact that breakfast is served in a restaurant located 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Place is very authentic, inside nature. Rooms are spacious, maybe not luxurious or brand new but still comfortable. It's near by a traditional German village. Breakfast is served in a restaurant at 3 minutes walking distance. Breakfast is particularly good.

Fantastic room for the family. We had two bedrooms which were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was really good and we had eggs cooked to order.

Nice surroundings, clean (however pretty basic and worn) room with comfortable bed and tasty breakfast (which is not served in buffet-style breakfast but rather served as a bundle prepared by staff on site for each guest).

Poor Wi-Fi connection (not capable of a video-call), complicated check-in procedure (had to wait for someone from staff), limited free parking space, squeaky floors in a room and the fact that breakfast is served in a restaurant located 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Great location for exploring surrounding area and Koblenz. Room was bit basic but clean and bed super comfy and nice modern bathroom. Parking fine, right in front of the building and breakfast excellent. Also kitchen with free tea, coffee ,biscuits etc.

Arrival was strange, there is nobody there and no reception. There is a number to ring, but they didn't speak English. We found out from another guest where to get our key and how to check out. Also found out from another guest about the kitchen and other facilities where to find the place for breakfast, which is quite a way from the building at the lindehof saye restaurant down the road.(which is really nice)... in fact if you struggle on arrival go to the restaurant they should be able to provide the details.... some details of this would be a benefit before arrival.... saying all that, now we know the procedure we would definitely stay again.....

    location.

Church clock chimes every 15 minutes! No plug in bathroom and no lift. Partner has disability and many stairs. For breakfast we had 400 m walk to another property with no clear instructions to get there. No one available to help with cases in morning

Beautiful, peaceful location. Amazing breakfast, the best of our trip.

Shower was a bit poor, but other than that no complaints at all

It was a little bit complicated getting into this place because you first have to go to the reception which was based in a restaurant to get the keys then come back to the Abbey. However the accommodation in the Abbey was great because the rooms were absolutely enormous and the grounds around the Abbey were fabulous and of course the parking was free. The breakfast the next morning in the restaurant was probably the best we had in our entire trip.

The room could do with a mini bar fridge

Lovely location. Breakfast at nearby restaurant was amazing.

Extractor fan in bathroom not working.

Beautiful location, very peaceful and green. I could have stayed a few more days and enjoyed the area. Breakfast was very good. Big new Samsung TV, nice! Beds were comfy, and there was an extra separate room for kids. The view from the big windows in the room was beautiful.

Breakfast is in another place around 200 metres from the hotel. It took me a while to find it, but I managed. The good thing is that those 200 metres are very pretty and crossed a beautiful river over a medieval bridge. Very enjoyable. It would have been nice to have instructions to find the key beforehand, but I enjoyed the mystery and was able to find the secret spot where the key was waiting for me.

The breakfast is not at the hotel but at a restaurant a few minutes walk away. It was very luxurious.

I arrived on Tuesday evening, very tired. There was nowhere in the area to get dinner due to Ruhetag, I had to go to central Bendorf for food.

Charming, old-timey, pretty setting, convenient since we had a car, easy parking. Fantastic breakfast.

Very poor internet service. Avoid if you MUST have reliable internet.

No frills accommodation, situated in nice surroundings. Good breakfast and excellent restaurant

Our room was a bit small on this occasion but still met our needs.

Beautiful to look at from the outside and a good location.A lot was placed on trust, i hope that people did not abuse it.

Fairly basic and a 2-300m to reach where breakfast was being served.

Fantastic place off the highway in a secluded quiet setting, in an old abbey with a view on the Sayn Castle. Coffee and snacks available. Very kind staff. Spacious rooms and bathroom. Breakfast delicious with kind staff.

What’s not to like? Truly one of the best stay-overs we’ve had in a long time. If we can, we’ll be back to explore more of the surroundings.

Great location, ideal for hikers, welcoming staff, ease of communication, uncomplicated interaction

Nothing about the property itself. Evening meal was an issue as every locale was closed on a Monday

Beautiful architecture and history. Peaceful location in an attractive village.
