Located a 6-minute walk from the Aiguille du Midi ski elevator in Chamonix, Le Prieuré offers accommodations with ski equipment hire on site. Pros +
- Hotel Le Prieure exceeded our expectations. The location (short walk to central Chamonix), the warm feel of the hotel lobby, clean ski room, great staff and we loved the breakfast. Small but good quality ski hire.
- The staff are very polite and very helpful for answering my questions and solving my problems.
Cons -
- We had issues with one lift being broken for most of our stay, and it did break down late one night again while I was in it. Stuck in it for an hour and had to be be rescued by local fire crew. Needs to be better.
- The room was not ready at checkin time, and the staff offered no solutions, alternatives, or ways to improve the situation.
- The drain of the bathtub wasn¿t working properly. I had to drain it with my hands.
