The front desk man was the key. He helped me with everything.

The pillows. I couldn’t barely sleep because of them. Not at all comfortable.

Great location, choice of restaurants within walking distance. Reception and restaurant staff always friendly.

Bathroom,unsafe , no safety handles , slippery floor is very wet after shower , need improvement also need netting on windows, insect attacks.

There was a musical performance finishing after midnight (organized by the property right at the property courtyard), so it was impossible to sleep due to extreme noise. Receptionist told me this is organized every Friday evening. Therefore cannot recommend for anybody wanting to sleep at night. Otherwise Ok.

horrible experience for luxury amount for accommodation

we have paid for apartments for whole weekend, but arrived on Saturday, during our trip reception called us to ask if they can rent our room to someone else even though we paid it in advance, room didn’t have hot water for shower, and we were kept waiting for 5 hours to get it without success at the end, horrible experience. we asked hotel if we can take our dogs in as hotel is not pet friendly and answer was no, but inside hotel was more than 20 dogs that were allowed to be inside. in the hall of the hotel where was our apartment you could smell cigarette smoke all around.

Older, but quiet hotel with very kind staff. Smaller restaurant, but very tasty food.

The hotel is close to city center.

The staff had no English, was difficult to communicate with them, the hotel facilities were not working (wellness area was closed) and not advertised before booking it. The price was a bit too much for what they offered ?

Do not book this hotel on friday night!I only spent one night at Hotel Slovan, but because there was a disco just in front of my window (in the hotel inner yard!) it was impossible to sleep until 5:20 AM. They offer rooms where they know it's impossible to sleep, without any warning about the disco in advance, so guests could rebook! I consider this a fraud.I arrived to the hotel on friday evening and an older guy at the reception told me: There is a problem, we have a disco here and you will not be able to sleep. He tried to blame it to Booking.com why they didn't warn me in advance and only after I told him, that Booking.com gives guests details immediately, he said: we actually want to apologise for the inconvenience, but we don't have other free room, so you better go to the disco, he smiled. He didn't offer any compensation. Very arrogant communication...In the morning, after only three hours of sleep, I asked the receptionist (young woman) what kind of compensation are they going to give me. She pretended to be surprised, that I could't sleep. So I asked for full refund because of this fraud and arogant behavior. After long phone call with her boss, she gave me back what I paid minus the Booking.com fee and the local tax and apologised.

Good Central location, helpfull staff, if we needed something extra always willing to help...
