Hotel Druzba

The hotel is located in a city centre. I had a nice view over the city. A room provided a basic accommodation, a bed was comfortable. Tasty breakfast is served in a nicely decorated restaurant. Staff was attentive.

Location of the hotel was very good, so was my room. Overall, the facility despite being more than forty years old, was well-maintained, clean and calm. It provides excellent access to the centre of the city. Kudos to the reception and the restaurant services. I recommend it to the sole travellers as well as to the families with children.

In terms of hotel category, my expectations were met. I did not experience any hindrances or awkward moments. Perhaps, after three days of my stay, the continental breakfast seemed to have been a bit of monotonous. Some final touches with more fruit and vegetables will help to boost the final impression.

The facilities were excellent. Ample parking.

The choice of cooked food for breakfast was extremely poor. On Saturday it was fried eggs and sauerkraut sausages and I don't like sauerkraut. Nothing else. No bacon was available either morning. Extremely disappointing.

All locations and and amenities could be cheaper in this world.

Close to the road. Can hear the cars in the room with windows closed and on the 4 flor. AC did not work properly. the furniture was weird and from like the 2000 i bumped my leg so many times on the bed frame. painful.

Breakfast was good

There is a huge difference between economy and premium rooms. If I knew it in the first place I would book deluxe cos it’s so cheap

The reception area was very modern, spacious and impressive.The hotel was close enough to walk to MFK Zemplin Michalovce's football ground and to pubs/restaurants.

The bedrooms didn't match the reception area for newness/modern-ness. In particular the windows were quite old and took some working out how to open.

The bed

The cleaning lady Olga was great, kind, smiley and cleaned well.

Very outdated rooms, lamp cables damaged, cracked shower tiles with water leaks, broken hangers in the wardrobe, lobby looks cheap and tacky. If you go for breakfast after 9.30 there is not much left, seems that they do not refill, some restaurant staff does even say Good morning or acknowledge you. For what IT IS overpriced. I will most definitely not be coming back to this property in the future.

The only good thing is that we got free parking and that location is in the center.

Let's start with the super old room furniture. The door from the room is also old and you can hear each voice or step. The room was super cold during the day and night, where the temperature was around 4-5C. Breakfast wasn't worth the money and when we came to have breakfast, almost all the food was gone.

First I was given the keys to a room where a smoker was before me. The air in the room was heavily masked with some kind of a spray, it was very hard to breathe. After speaking to the receptionist, she very willingly changed the room for me. After that everything was just great!

Really central hotel, really nice staff, thwy even extended my check-out. Breakfast was nice. The room was very clean and the amenities were nice. The staff was very nice and even gave recommendations about the town

The rooms have a bit of an old feel, the key from the room is quite big and heavy. Otherwise nice stay

The hotel in General is up to standard, location was excellent, clean with friendly staffs. Exterior is modern and beautiful with lovely and spacious reception with waiting areas and seats. It was late when i got there but i got a secure and free parking for my car and i also noticed the beautiful outdoor lounge at the main entrance.

Room interior was very wack, i was disappointed. interior in my room was very old, disappointing and not worth even half of what i paid for it in real sense. I guess thats how to put it. Plus the breakfast? Not really much to choose from at all. I dont know about other rooms but room 602 was not worth it. The bathroom needs urgent renovation especially the shower Cabinet and toilet, i had to constantly pick up the tap lock as it’s constantly falling off and very very old. I was very tired and sleepy after driving for 12 hours so i didn’t take any photos.

I went to Dental clinic Doktor Zub and its located right in hotel , so location for that reason is perfect.

Rooms are a little old style, but the balcony was the worst.

The hotel is actually bit old and starting to look run down however I had a comfortable stay and my room was spacious and there is off street parking and a good breakfast

This Hotel is real retrostyle, we even had a casette player in our apartament:-) Maybe some people don't like but I do. Everything was clean and nice, room was really big, we had an apartament, with living room, where was a TV with couch and bedroom, also with TV, so if you don't like to watch same thing, here you are. Beds were comfy, I need small pillow so I asked for it, and it wasnt problem. Restaurant has nice food, we came late and they cooked for us and I would like to thank to Juraj, waitress, he was really nice and very helpful. Thanx a lot.

Hotel is under construction right now, so there might be some noise over the weekdays from 9:00 till 16:00 but thats only upper floors. I dont see this as a problem, but maybe some likes to sleep pre day:-))
