Hôtel Restaurant L'Evidence

The bath was luxurious the restaurant on site is a bonus and having a garage for our Motorbike was good.

Location

The staff in the restaurant were very unhelpful. I do speak very good French. We were ignored to order a drink and food. I had to go to the bar to remind them re our drinks. Then remind them again. At the end of the meal the staff ignored us again then closed the bar without telling us and turned off the electricity. It was 10.00!! Do not eat there. We skipped breakfast as we did not want to experience another disappointment after a fabulous trip throughout France.

Convenient parking on site. Room scrupulously clean. Helpful staff.

The restaurant seemed to have little business and very few choices. Fortunately, there was also a brasserie that accommodated us (vegetarians, one dairy-free) very well.

The reception and staff was excellent. The restaurant and their wine cellar were really superbe. The beds were comfortable

Superb

Whilst I have given the above scores.We had a very very poor night, the air-conditioning in the hotel made a high pitch noise. We went to sleep but woke around 11.45pm, the sound drove us mad, no one at the hotel reception to help. We turned off all our electric and the air-con, went into the main corridor. The high-pitch noise was in the corridor, remain convinced it was the general air-con.

Cute room with nice decorations, and it was located right near the city centre within walking distance to both the train station and many local businesses like restaurants. I didn't eat at the restaurant while here, but the menu looked interesting (provided you're not a vegan, which my partner is).

It would've been nice if the breakfast was included or at least cheaper. It was good, but a lot of money for what you got.

Evaluation stay

We were with a toddler and needed to take/pay a 3 people room. Even when our baby didn't sleep yet in a normal bed.

Everything you expect for a decent hotel was provided; good beds, clean and well equipped room, good breakfast. The in-room whirlpool was a much appreciated bonus.

Nothing was wrong with this hotel

A last minute booking after deciding to visit Joan of Arcs birthplace, hotel is approx 10 kilometres away, plenty of free parking, nice welcome despite our very poor French, the hotel is functional but nice size room with large bathroom. Book a table in the restaurant the food was great. Three course meal with wine and drinks about 80 euros excellent.

the garage was not available for early departures - it only opened at 8am. I did not get this information from the hotel description clearly. The staff were not helpful.Breakfast also started late, as it was a Saturday: but it was THE day in the year when the whole of France moves, and there was no understanding that an early breakfast that day might be good.

Nice hotel in the beautiful village of Neufchateau. Staff is really nice. Spacious and very clean room, really comfortable beds.

Cold smoke smell (probably due to the fact that our our was directly above the bar). However the room was very clean.

In the center of town with good parking facility. Good breakfast. Bed very comfortable, soft pillow. Staff very helpful.
