Hotel Grand

The hotel is located in the centre of the Caslav town overlooking the main square - it invited us to stroll at the Saturday market, which we liked very much. The staff was really nice, the room was spacious and clean, parking during the weekend is free, the coffee at the breakfast was fine too, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean. For us it was a rather useful stay while attending an event nearby and it served the purpose very well. Also the staff was helpful and accommodated all our requests (thank you!). All in all, we had a very pleasant stay.

The room was very spacious, but also relatively sparsely decorated so it felt a bit empty to me: I guess it's the empty shelves on the furniture and the lack of see-through curtains on the large windows to somewhat "soften" the space. On Sunday, the bread at the breakfast was a bit "dated", but not too bad either. But these are minor issues, I would stay here anytime again, no problem - if I come back to Caslav in the future.

Staff at the reception more than very nice. Helped us with our bikes, charging them, storing them, and fluent in English and French!!Bathroom is exceptionally nice. Highly recommend this hotel, and will return here when in Prague again.

Location, Decor, condition and cleanliness

a good place for a short stop. located at the center. place of interest is Kunta Hora 15m driving.

The Hotel, the room, the restaurant and the breakfast is excellent.

It was very difficult to talk to the reception staff. none of the ladies had any English language skills

It was in a town square with a lovely market in the morning.

We chose the property because it has air conditioning. The air conditioning was too weak to do anything. The rooms were really hot. The rooms are run down and dirty.

The room was spacious, the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast has small selection but everything was great. The hotel is in the city center and there's a nice view from the breakfast area and there's parking in front of the hotel which is very convenient.

Very nice staff. Modern, comfortable rooms. It's a nice location if you want to visit Prague but not stay in Prague. Walk to train station is easy. Kutna Hora is close.

It was little expensive considering it wasn't in Prague, but I would stay there again.
