Cons -
- Bed was softer than our preference. There is not a lot of internal sound isolation so we could hear a lot of noise from the hallway and furniture being moved along the floor in the room above.
- I got the impression this hotel doesn’t really welcome children. If you prefer to cater to couples or older guests, that’s fine, set an age limit. But having a sign saying “dogs are welcome and kids should be on a leash” felt rude and unwelcoming. It immediately made me uncomfortable and wish I’d booked elsewhere. I’d rather stay somewhere where I don’t have to worry about my kids bothering staff because maybe they spoke too loudly or got excited about something. We always make sure to look after our kids so they wont bother other people but it will never be perfect with young children. If families aren’t the kind of guests you want, just be upfront instead of making them feel unwelcome.

The hotel is close to where I was working. The gym was useful but could do with a bike.
With Christmas Parties in the hotel, I felt that I wasn't catered for in the restaurant. Two nights of eating junk food was not in my original plan.
The place at Trosa centre is just great. Perfect for exploring the surroundings by foot. We did like the outside area of the breakfast room. That was very quiet and cosy. Very difficult to leave.

Rooms were not sound proof there was one or the other noise at night waking you up and Head shower didn’t work in our room! Mainly the heater didn’t work in our room either.

The spa isn’t huge but is really well equipped, and Susanne on reception is very helpful. Well worth booking a massage. The food in the restaurant is delicious. It was nice to sit out on the terrace in the sun, but possibly the nicest spot in the hotel is the cosy lounge area, which looks like an ideal spot to relax in the winter. I’ll have to return to find out!
