Good bathroom

Room too dark. Ceiling painted dark grey, made the room look smaller than it was.Lack of bidet.Mattresses too firm. Woke up with little back pain.

Very comfortable, good quality of breakfast and flexible opportunities for eating and drinking in the hotel, all reasonable prices

The heat was extremely high even though with closed air conditioning There was a lot of noise until late night from other rooms

Tip Top hotel in a great location. Food was great, excellent staff in the restaurant. Very much exceeded my expectations. Indoor parking for my motorcycle. Would stay again and again.

Our third stay in this lovely spa hotel. Comfortable beds, good bathrooms with plenty of hot water. The restaurant is fabulous and tremendous value. 18 euros menu served at lunchtime and in the evening - inclusive of wine and water.The swimming pool is lovely and we had it mostly to ourselves during our recent stay.

Did not have breakfast as travelled out each morning early as weather due to be bad later

The hotel was comfortable and was a good choice of place for us to stay in Cantavieja. The bar service was good with some decent tapas on offer and dinner in the hotel was really very good.

The hotel had a spa but no-one offered up any details on that... was access included in our booking? was it worth checking out? no idea. In my experience, facilities are explained by reception when checking in I realise that in this case, I should probably have asked for details myself.... my excuse is it had been a very long drive!

Very comfortable room, the cafeteria is open all day and the restaurant is excellent with the choice of a Menu del Dia, Seasonal and Tasting menus. The spa is also great for relaxing after a day's walking. It's subdivided so that couples can book a private 50 minute session with your own steam room and massage bath.

The room was a bit too warm and the only way to cool it was to open the large window, which automatically shuts off the aircon. Sound insulation between rooms is not great. There were continuous squeaking noises from the room above - I have no idea what they were doing...but at least all was quiet during the night.

Fantastic location in the beautiful town of Cantavieja. The hotel was very comfortable and spotlessly clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves gourmet spanish cuisine which is reflected in the a la carte prices but the daily menu is excellent value for money at 16€ for 3 courses with wine and coffee - we couldn’t quite believe it! We will certainly visit again and highly recommend it.

We booked this hotel because it had a swimming pool and were very disappointed to find the pool closed when we got there as it only opens in high season. We complained to the manager who told us that Booking.com were aware of this but had not put this important information on their site. The manager and staff couldn’t have been more helpful and they opened the pool especially for us to swim on our last day. We advise that you call the hotel to check the availability of swimming and spa facilities as this is not correctly displayed on this site. This is the only reason we have rated the facilities as an 8. Without this problem it would have been top marks!

Superb Hotel located in the beautiful medieval town of Catavieja (The heart of Maestrazgo)Cantavieja is very well located to visit the other medieval towns in the area such as Mirambel, La Iglesuela del Cid, Morella etc...The Hotel boasts both an excellent Restaurant and Spa.Rooms are sleek, modern and confortable.Staff is very frienly and helpful.Truly value for money.
