Hotel Slavonija

For the low price I paid, I was happy with what I got: Great location and view, fantastic breakfast! Very friendly staff also. And the public areas still have some original design features from the 80s, especially the wooden ceiling decorations and the stairway handrails, which is increasingly rare nowadays. I hope they will not destroy them in the future.The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Only the bathroom must have been designed by a man. The mirror was so high up that as a woman of average height I could only see my face from the nose upwards. There was also no way to hang up the shower head in a way to be able to shower without holding it, and the sink faucet had such a high water pressure that you could not wash your hands without water splashing into all four corners of the earth. Give the bathroom an update, keep and restore the public areas. I would definitely visit again!

Excellent location – close to the cultural and historic centre of Vinkovci. The room was clean and functional. The staff was super friendly. Breakfast was included.

The food for the breakfast was stale and old. The bread was stale/dry, and the boiled eggs were so old the white was actually grey. The orange juice severely watered down. Very disappointing and surprising because this part of Croatia is well known for their food.

Comfy rooms and very helpful staff. Excellent location near the main square and river. About 15 minutes walk from the station: just go straight ahead when you come out.

The room was okay. We expected an old building and rooms, but we didn't expect the breakfast to be that bad.

The rooms are tiny and the walls are stained.Breakfast was really bad. Bread was 2 days old. Everything else was also really old, looked like it was there for a few days and it was placed on the stained tablecloths.

The staff was very kind and helpful. I have never seen the positive approach in this hotel in any other hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the breakfast was above many hotels. Absolutely perfect.

There was nothing I didn't like at the hotel. Everything was above my expectations. It offers excellent value for money.

A little worn down and breakfast felt a bit tired. But it was a very off season visit. :)

The hotel is old but renovated. The breakfast was not the best, the orange juice was very sour, like it has been there for longer time.

Really nice stay in city centre of Vinkovci with very friendly and helpfull staff. Anyway it needs a little refreshment at all levels. Free parking is a nice bonus.

breakfast was vast. the location was neat and the place was quiet. the smart tv was neat and the huge mirror in the back of the room was so nice to have.

the pillows and bed sheets were either too small or too soft for both of our liking. additionally, the queen sized bed was just two smaller beds pushed together both me and my partner kept falling through the space in between them.

The staff was excellent.

The breakfast was kind of boring. And the coffee was not that hot. But there were a lot of nuts and cereal. That was great.

In adition to excellent breakfast, unusalay great offer of serials and nuts. Very clean with very pleasnt stuff.

Maybe just a litlle bit bigger pillows and better wifi in the room.

Very bad condition of the hotel. Everything is old and whatever you grab either breaks or stays in your hand. The elevator is in a tragic state and very narrow. It is difficult for two people with luggage to enter. Nice pictures and high expectations, but in reality it does not meet even 10% of the expectations.

A cozy, "oldish" hotel in the centre of Vinkovci. Next to it there is a (pretty secure) parking lot (which includes an EV charging station). Staff was absolutely cordial and helpful, everything worked without any issues. Many shopping stores as well as bars and restaurants around, reachable by foot.

This is a pretty old hotel which could use a renovation but on the other hand, it also provides a retro-feeling so one should try and cherish this experience ;-)

Very nice staff, great breakfast, clean and big room, beautiful bathroom, very good value for money.

Very helpful staff at reception desk, lady working in the afternoon hours has really professional attitude for customers.Customer service in Hotel Slavonija is better than in some high ranking hotels. I would recommend this hotel to anybody visting Vinkovci either for business or pleasure.

Everything was OK.

Helpful and polite personnel. I was kindly offered the option to check-out later than the normal time, in order to get some more sleep, as I had arrived late after midnight in the previous night.

I liked the staff! Friendly, attentive, helpful, responsive. I was pleasantly surprised to learn Hotel Slavonija has it's archeological claim to fame. If you're curious you can investigate it's history.

Elevator is little old so maybe is time to buy new one

Very clean hotel and room, directly in the city center, but no noise.In bathroom we found everything, from soap, shower, sew set, toothbrushes, etc (I have not seen it in many hotels in different countries in the same *).Breakfast was good, options to choose, however never tried dinner or lunch as we stay just fornthe night.

Just bit difficult to find it. Even it is on the main street. But we have been in hurry, so maybe we just did not pay attention.
