Pros +
- - good varied breakfast- they do what they can with an old property - good signage, activities, good for families with kids, people with dogs, etc.
- Great location with loads to do for families
- Breakfast, Dinner
Cons -
- - the building is aging and, until a general renovation, this will be felt; still, they do the best they can with it
- It was a little “old school” but still well maintained. The lifts were sometimes very busy and took a long time to come.
- There was a very disturbing sound coming from the next room every night for2 nights I think it was from the water pipes.

Breakfast, Dinner
There was a very disturbing sound coming from the next room every night for2 nights I think it was from the water pipes.
Great place for a relaxing weekend. Good location for one to go on short and long treks.
Beds and pillows can be better.
The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely, with a balcony - looking across the hills in front. It was large and comfortable.
Due to the position of the hotel you would need to take the car if you wanted to visit the town. You can walk to the fenicular however, if you want to go up the mountain and see the views.

For the price we paid:-No wasser kocher/kettle, tea/coffee and cups.. /fridge-hot water took long to reach shower-no hairdryer-did not order city transport tickets (€6 each) but found out that it was charged added to the hotel bills
We had a comfort to stay at the funiculiers to Wurmberg.
We did not like food taste and the food easthetics in the restaurant. Room was old and used, not cosy. Personell tried to be friendly but they lack knowledge about hospitality. I never paid 500€ for 2 nights with 1 child in such poor organisation. Our expectations were not reached, we were VERY dissapointed. Sorry for a critical comment.
It was all excellent! The breakfast is luxurious, the room is very nice and located with a view to the nature. I would recommend it in any case since even outdoor activities for families are offered.
Long waiting sometimes at the reception.
Everything went well. The room was nice, the breakfast was delicious and variate, location is great.
Maybe the cleanliness can be improved. It was a bit noisy in the morning.
Very good for families with children. There is also a playground and 2 pools and a cinema
The view
We were surprised the pool was closed for renovation. We had not been informed there would be no housekeeping during our stay. They increased our charge by 70 euro for sleeping 2 instead of 1 person in our double room, and removed our discount booked through booking.com . We were encouraged not to book through booking.com again but directly at the hotel to avoid this :(
Breakfast was good. Rooms were large and clean. Staff were helpful. Parking was secure
Buffet dinner was a bit dissapointing
Great location and spacious roomVery family and children friendly facilities Big swimming pool
There is no electric kettle to prepare tea/coffee in the room.
The Staff was very friendly..the Hotel reminds me of a moves from the 70's and cool...the Food was good . Rooms are big and clean..The Pool is big ..Our daughter ( 5) loved it ...and a Indoor playground..a very famliy friendly hotel...
If I had to find something ?they maybe that parking is not free ..14 Euro /Day
Great View. Pools massive (Outside not heated- so cold couldn't use even in August!) The room doors had great fonts for the numbers! Crap cabaret in the evening was funny
Breakfast / Dinner was terrible. choice poor and staff rudeNo air con in the rooms. Lift to garage only went part of the way...meant we had to lift heavy cases up two flights of stairs. and it was expensive Not at all tourist friendly. Kids club not welcoming or inclusive.
We traveled with a toddler, so the fact that the hotel has more playrooms for kids was the highlight for our son. This was a huge + for us! The staff was also really nice and the breakfast had a big variety of options.
The overall apperance, furniture and everything is outdated. The water in the indoor pool was too cold, you were not able to stay in it for long.
All relevant facilities where available. Two pools, sauna, gym, kids places.
No chance to get snacks throughout the day.
there was no control over anything. when we arrived we had to wait for our room to be cleaned. the
there was no control over anything. when we arrived we had to wait for our room to be cleaned. the room had not been cleaned, the bed linen had not been changed, there was no option to purchase half board, there was a general lack of service and friendliness. oops we won't be using either this or booking.com again. things are clearly out of control.
The main advantage of a high-rise building in a mountain is the spectacular view - it's simply amazing! We stayed in a comfort room with many windows, and there were forests all around us. The terrace was simply enormous, and our daughter could race on her scooter. The interior was comfortable enough and matching the style of the building. The two pools are great, there are also two kids rooms - a movement-oriented one, and a quieter one. An extensive entertainment programme is also present if you're into such a thing.
The nice view has a piece, and it's paid by being located on a hill - it's an uphill climb, аnd you are far from the town centre. The front desk staff has no decision-making power, so if there were some misunderstandings with your reservation like in our case, you'd better hope it's a working day and somebody competent to assist you is present. The cleanliness of the rooms leaves something to be desired. The worst part by far though is the food - it looks ok on paper, with decent variety, but cheap products and uninspired cooks make for one of the least appealing offerings we've ever encountered.
it location and sizegood breakfastplayground for kidsnice view from room
no English speaking staff at the deskparking garage not accessible to SUV due to 1,8m in height maxswimming pool a bit on the coldish side, could have been a bit warmer, otherwise very nice.
