Very nice property, clean, great quality, location and staff. Not cheap, but worth the money, I’d say

Some items in the room looked dated, but I believe they were mostly stylized to look that way.

- Room with a bathtub, very big and comfortable. - Nice breakfast, even though it was very full. - Very kind staff, that spoke English very well. - Booking dates kindly changed at request

- The hotel's restaurant was good, but not worth the price. I wish there were simpler options.- Confusing information from staff about the availability of rooms- We stayed at a cheaper room than what I paid for

really romantic stay. nice sauna. optimal choice for a relaxing weekend and hiking tour. there are plenty of routes around.

The property was fantastic—clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like a home away from home, with every detail thoughtfully designed.

We had a room in hausa number 2. the bed was making sounds with every simple move. I had to ask the reception to change the room for me.

Great location for hiking in Harz, nice sauna and with a good breakfast too.

The restaurant is very good. The staff is very accomodating.

Last time I had a room which I find was designed better. Both had a bath tub inside the room, but the one I had the first time – by dividing the room into two smaller areas – just worked better for me. But it was a nice room nevertheless.

Everything, the rooms were comfortable, the mattresses were great, bathrooms modern. Breakfast was exceptional with a wide variety of food and drinks. The bar at reception had a nice variety of drinks. The whole atmosphere was very welcoming and modern with a vintage touch!

The double bed could have been slightly bigger

Love this place. We come back here almost twice a year. Great food, amazing rooms and we love the area.

Spa could be bigger and more conveniently located, as you need to go outside to get to it.

There were a few staff that were really good but unfortunately there was also one that were no good. we all loved the morning buffet - it was really good. we liked the outside sauna. But there were a few extras we needed and which we thought would be included in a hotel.

on booking.com it said that the hotel had a spa, which it didn't have - but this was one of the reasons we chose the hotel.one of the staff members was really unbehaved.there wasn't tea and coffee in the room, which we found really cheap. the facilities were in the room with cups and water, so we went to the city and bought tea and instant-coffee. i asked, and we were told we should pay extra (even though it should be included regarding to the home page). even though we used the plates and cups, we didn't get clean ones the day after. we spend 3 nights on the hotel.

Private Sauna are great. The room was very nice and the bathtub ? is a very cozy hotel. We would recommend it.

Would be nice to have fresh Orange Juice for breakfast. The bottle Orange Juice is not fresh and goes against the freshness of the hotel concept.

stylish but homey Hotel in the middle of Harz with a lot of details that show how much love went into it. We had a room with bath tub, which I absolutely recommend. Breakfast was rich and we were greeted by one of the owners every morning.
