Very clean, great breakfast

Our location within the resort was in the other side of the main road and we had to cross the road every day for the breakfast.

Location is great, easy access, very friendly and helpful staff

Cozy and beautiful Several walk right there available Great gym and the individual sauna was simply amazing

Blankets in the apartments would be great to have

I like particular the breakfast and the sauna! During our stay, the weather didn't allow us to explore more, but the sauna made us feel worthy visiting. And the location is convenient to reach to the bus station!

I would suggest to provide the kettle in the room. During my stay, I was ill and my throat required constantly moisture from warm water. However, I needed to go to the restaurant, there was an evening that the restaurant closed their kitchen and I couldn't get the warm water. That sleep wasn't not good.

The resort is still under construction, so there is limited entertainment in the evening.

The bed, the facilities in the hotel, across a tourist information, very nice staff and basically everything. Would recommend.

The construction, the lots of dead three’s in the area around the hotel and that there wasn’t much choice for breakfast.

Nicely furnished and all modern and clean.

Late check-in (16.00) and early check-out (10.00) seemed very unfriendly. Our room overlooked the car park and got extremely hot as it was above the sauna. No tea making facilities although there is a small coffee machine. Too costly for what we got.

The place is very clean and has a great views. Great place for a family stay with huge national park near by. Sauna is available and is for free. I recommend this place for couple of nights.

We met 2 persons from the staff. Both of them were arrogant and were pointing out mistakes to customers. They don't even try to speak English, although they clearly know English.Breakfast doesn't exist in this place. Although they offer a "breakfast to go", this is way overpriced and way too little. On top of that this 4 star hotel wants to charge for coffee 2,5 euro. Unbelievable

dog friendly - nice terrace outside to enjoy sunny days - clean rooms - staff and cleaning crew were very kind and available - proximity to hiking paths.

poor breakfast choice (not existent) only coffee and tea in the reception. property is located right on the ‘main’ street - this is not very well depicted in images from property - undisclosed charges for ‘energy bill’ amount to 5€ / night.

Room was clean and comfortable bed.

On the maps it shows store, not the actual hotel. Hotel is on the other side of the street. Room was cold and windovs was open, turned the heating to the max and still didnt get comfortably warm till morning. At reception, worker didnt talked in english at all.

We have stayed in house 304. Cool view, very quiet. Bed sheets and towels are fresh and white. Fire place made our stay unforgettable. We would like to come again. Sauna was functioning very well.

The nature area around was pretty (feel like it's still not worth it in comparison to everything else)

I travel a lot, but never have I ever had an experience this bad.- If you don't have a view over the brocken, you'll have a noisy room next to a road and the parking lot. (requesting in advance apparently won't work. I requested a room with the brocken view months in advance, but didn't get it).- Any hotel I've been too (even the cheapest ones) had a chromecast/possibility to smart view). This tv just has german channels.- They weren't clear at all concerning breakfast. They sent us to the restaurant near for free breakfast, where we had to pay 42 euros for 2 pieces of bread and 2 eggs.Afterwards we went back to the reception and they just told us they couldn't do anything for us and that they were sorry.- Staff isn't helpful at all and the staff at the restaurant has the worst attitude I've ever seen.- Anywhere around you will have to drive by car and concerning restaurants you have to reserve far in advance.- Once again. The service was just absolutely terrible. The staff had a bad attitude and they weren't willing to help at all.I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. It's way too expensive for what you get. I've stayed at hostels as well and most of them were 100x better than this hotel.

Fantastic rooms. Very comfortable beds and nice spacious bedrooms. Nice furnishing with coffee machine and kettle in room. Beautiful sauna area overlooking Brocken.

Restaurant was not functional so not able to have dinner or breakfast on site. They should really provide somewhere to prepare food in this case as the only restaurant nearby was fully booked.

Very pretty furniture, loved the Sauna. You can stay with your dog, they even had a bowl with food for the dogs in the room.

A little too expensive. No restaurant within the Torfhaus. Nearby a good restaurant, you can take away and eat in Torfhaus's terrase.It was a little too loud in the morning.Now that the forest in the area is dead, the value was way too high.
