    Pros +

    • It is older, but very clean and comfortable. The room was huge with a lovely balcony overlooking the square. The breakfast was very nice as was our dinner in the restaurant one evening. It was a very convenient location for us.
    • It is in a great location with balcony rooms overlooking the Varoshaza.
    • Great location in the heart of Kaposvar. We visit every year to visit my wife's family. The hotel is walking distance to everything with a great view of the church and the square.

    Cons -

    • The hot water could have been just a bit hotter-we used it straight!
    • The rooms and bathrooms are in need of updating but are adequate.
    • Now I read the negative reviews and some things were upgraded, some still remain. Yes, the rooms have old furniture, old doors, old bathroom. The toilet itself was flushing loud. But I see they upgrade something step by step. And re comments about breakfast- they added milk, yogurt, juice is good.

I enjoyed the atmosphere, their restaurant has extended outdoor terrace, where you sit next to beautiful square with fountain and the church. The food is very good, I enjoyed it! Tried the Mediterranean soup and beef checks dish, they are delicious, my compliments! Good food variety for the breakfast, also tasty. Also the staff is friendly and welcoming, super helpful, they serve very fast. Then, the parking is very nice as well, spacious for big cars, no problem. My room had a new conditioner and also all windows can be opened if needed, so I was sleeping with comfort. There’s ventilation in bathroom which I find a plus. My room had new bed and new mattress, which is nice, also new drying fan for hair, new shower curtain. But everything else is old. Now, old buildings can have its charm, and the hall and restaurant definitely give it to you! The building has beautiful high ceilings, which we don’t build anymore.

The restaurant, the view and the location. The rooms are spacious.

    Wifi wasn't the best.

The hotel is from an older era, which is not a problem in itself, although the atmosphere may not be to everyone's taste. The lady at reception was very professional and spoke perfect English. The hotel also has a restaurant in the same old style, which was useful as on Sunday when I stayed in Kaposvar very few restaurants and cafés were open. The restaurant is good but a little on the expensive side.

No shampoo provided, I am not a great fan of baths and shower curtains. The bells of the church opposite the hotel may disquiet those who want to sleep long.

Central location, nice qiet room with good heating, clean and comfortable bed, very good breakfast, proffesional and kind staff.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Location in very center.

Very old facilities, smelling bathroom, WiFi didn't reach the room, no coffee or water boiler in room, in bathroom only hand soap, no shower gel or shampoo. Overall, room extremely basic, only the very necessary to sleep in it, hotel definitely not trying to provide any extra value or comfort to guests. Breakfast is good in of itself, but compared to other hotels, it is quite scarce (e. g. only one type of egg is offered). The above is reflected in the price: in plain center cheaper than some other options in town outskirts. At the same time, this level of oldness and lack of contemporary update is a shame in a town like Kaposvár.

    Nice, helpful professional staff.

The building is old, would need some development. The lights on the corridor were hardly enough to read the room number.

The location was perfect, located right on the main square. Our room had a large balcony with a view right on the square. The parking is easy to find and located right next to the hotel. Breakfast was tasty and included in the price. Friendly staff. Room and hotel were clean.

No amenities in the bathroom, only soap.

Excellent location in the centre of Kaposvar. Large room, very clean and well decorated. Nice evening meal with lots of choise. Off road secure parking for our m/cycles. Great breakfast.

Room was lacking a few chairs.

The location is great, the girl at reception was so nice and helpful, and there is cheap parking around the hotel, secure and great for motorcycles also.

    Everything was great.

The room was clean and beds were good. Refrigerator was nice and cold and air conditioner did a good job. Bathroom also looked clean and neat. Breakfast was good. Sandwiches were fresh and the fried egg was tasty. There were lots of different toppings for the bread.

The room was a little outdated with the furniture. The only thing I missed with the breakfast was the milk and the orange juice couldn't really be called orange juice. It was more like water with a flavor.

I t is very good located. After I had lost my tablet sadly in the city center the woman of the reception helped me out with a Lap Top for a few hours which was very kind and helpful in my situation.

The breakfast and also the dinner there was bad.
