La Douce Montagne

Thank you to Casper who made our stay extra special, he was so informative and helpful. Really genuinely cared about his guests getting the best out of their stay. Hotel was really picturesque too, from our hotel room window we could see a stunning waterfall. Convenient location near a ski lift easy enough to get to Alp d’Huez and other areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay thank you Casper ?

More comfy pillows please. For one night it was fine but longer we would have asked for more or better!

Great location for the Eau d’Olle Express gondola. The gondola takes you to Oz and to Alpe d’Heuz from there. We ski’d in Alpe d’Heuz and used the Allenond Sport for ski hire (directly across from the hotel), they’re really helpful and lovely staff. The hotel is a great place to stay if using the gondola, the staff are also great. But Allemond itself is very quiet, if looking for something more lively you can head up to Vaujauy or Oz in just 15mins

The town is very very quiet but noting that I disliked about the hotel. Good value for money if using as a base for skiing/hiking/biking

Very nice staff, clean and comfortable room, amazing sauna, and absolutely incredible dinner. And of course the location!

the location is great, the ski lift eau d’olle is a 7 minute walkthe staff is very nice and helpful (but speaks little french)the bedroom and bathroom are comfortablethe restaurant area is nicethere’s a nice buffet for breakfast, perfect to start a sports day

Beautiful hotel, lovely rooms, cozy atmosphere, super friendly staff and great food! Perfect location and service for cyclists. Highly recommended. :-)

Nice little refurbished hotel, owned by a nice Dutch couple.We stayed there during a cycling holiday, there is a shed (locked at night) for our bikes with tools, pumps, repairstand.Staff is really friendly and helpful?The hotel is neat and clean, and is placed in the center of Allemond. The breakfast buffet is not overwhelming, but it has what is needed, and dinner at night was good as well.So in all, a recommendable hotel with a good location. ?

Nice location, modern bathroom and restaurant, friendly staff

Unpretentious, but our bedroom had been recently renovated with taste and it was very quiet despite the fact that the hotel was well occupied, as I found out at breakfast.Nice atmosphere too, very much a Dutch corner at its best.

The lodge is lovely - a great eating area/fire area for resting. The breakfast was simple but still very tasty! The rooms are basic, but clean. It doesn't really matter though as you tend to be out all day! Access to the ski lift is very close.
