    • Nice, clean, tastefully renovated tradional building. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Thank you?

    Cons -

    • No elevator. Third floor rooms are only accessible by stairs. The restaurant was closed during half of our stay. Not many options to eat in the town. AC is very weak. It was hot in the room. Couldn't open the window because the church bell every 30 min woke us up.
    • Nothing !
    • The restaurant was closed on a Monday and there were limited eateries in the village open.

The staff's hospitality and service. The property facilities and decorations. The restaurant and the delicious food. The spa amenities and service were all 1st class. Being in the hospitality industry ourselves, we understand attention to detail and customer service is key for guests satisfactions. This establishment should be very proud. We have already recommended to others and planning to return.

A beautiful, quiet room in a lovely hotel. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. The brasserie meal and the breakfast service were both excellent. I wish I had more than one night here!

    I can't think of anything.

Very flash accommodation in Bidarray. Aircon was a welcome feature on the hot day we were there, though for some reason it kept switching itself off and we had to restart it.

    Expensive in the high season.

The staff, the pool, the views, the room. All perfect. A beautiful jewel in the prettiest area of the French Basque Country. Very quiet and relaxing. Really worth it. We will return.

Breakfast was nice and served in a lovely terrace. Yet we think it is the only thing that had some room for improvement (the variety).

The boutique hotel has undergone a complete renovation, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The decoration is beautiful, the breakfast is delicious, and the pool is an excellent place to relax. The staff is exceptionally courteous and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely fantastic! This hotel exceeds all expectations—there isn’t a single downside. A truly outstanding place to stay!

It was lovely - everything felt new / clean with a sort of rustic luxury ambiance - just in character with the location. Excellent. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Shower was excellent. Evening food in the restaurant and breakfast absolute quality- well done to the manager and all the staff.

nothing - just a really nice experience - perfect for anyone starting or finishing the GR10 pyrenees route ?

Beautiful building with spacious and comfortable rooms. The staff goes the extra mile to make you feel at ease. Dinner was excellent, breakfast simple but good. The town is lovely and when doing the GR10 it’s on the path.

The staff were very friendly and helpful individuals, we arrived out of ordinary kitchen hours but we were served a nice selection of hams and cheeses in addition to local wine. The location is excellent and very central. Stayed at the apartment within the hotel, generous size and a terrace facing the mountains!

The location was ideal, and the hotel itself was clean and spacious. On arrival, the staff were very welcoming and coffee was offered. The room was large and nicely decorated with a modern toilet and shower. The restaurant was shut for the evening so we dined elsewhere. On the second day after visiting various places, we settled for dining in the Bistro of the hotel, it was mainly a tapas menu with good wine. It was a pleasant and relaxing stay. The staff were charming and eager to please and we enjoyed ourselves the service could not be faulted. I was happy to return another time.

Sadly, what was a good experience was slightly marred after we left I discovered on my return to the house that we had left something in the fridge (a large unopened pack of smoked salmon). When I phoned to inquire about the item we left the person in reception sounded disinterested and unhelpful. It was a pity they did not have the courtesy to contact us by phone and let us know we left something behind. Maybe, one could think out of sight out of mind and you were no longer a person of interest to them until the next booking. Nevertheless, I asked the person on the phone to share it with the other staff and give them my best wishes. Will I return? I'm not so sure now.

The staff were very accommodating and helped me with things around town as I needed to buy some stamps etc. Really helpful and again... even with the language barrier. The room was really beautiful and I could not have asked for more.

The breakfast was a set choice rather than a buffet, but that wasn't too much of an issue.

Very clean and fresh, large rooms, good location, views of the mountains behind.

Twin beds were a little small..
