The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and comfortable. Location is ideal near sights, shops and restaurants. We were able to park our bikes in conference room. Breakfast was varied and fresh.

Our trip was short so we didn't have time to enjoy the sauna :(Overall a good place to stay

The curtains let in a lot of light, so if that bothers you make sure to bring a sleeping mask.

While it is a 2-star hotel, it surpasses other 3-star hotels in Hungary. The staff is attentive and goes the extra mile. The rooms are modern, clean, spacious, and have decent internet. I'd return at any time. Recommended.. ?

We’ve been several times to this property. Lovely rooms with comfortable beds. Plenty of storage. Bottle of fresh water and glasses provided in room. Good WiFi. Beautiful photos around the whole property. Property has connections with two local restaurants.Ask reception and they will give a laminated discount card for whichever restaurant you choose. We chose il Primo a great Italian restaurant in walking distance of the hotel, the other restaurant is also good serving traditional Hungarian cuisine (can’t remember the name of this restaurant). Breakfast good .

Staff kindness, breakfast was great. The grass in the garden and the inside look was nice. Spacious balcony for the room. Location was perfect. Great value for you money. ?

Air-conditioning was a bit weak, roller blinds at the glass door were a bit dodgy. No openable window in the bathroom. And a small fridge would have been a great idea in the room for water. But all in all it was great!

We had an amazing time at Pilvax Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by incredible care and attention from the staff. Nince, renovated hotel in the city centre. Room was nicely furbished. Free parking in front of the hotel. Staff was nice and helpful, Good value for money.

I got a room next to the sauna area, guests in the chill room in the sauna area were a bit noisy. Fortunatelly, the sauna closed at ca. 21.00-22.00 so it was not so disturbing.

This is a return visit to a great hotel. This time we had a downstairs room . The room was set as two single beds but the receptionist came and changed the beds to a double. Plenty of room and lots of storage space. TV , good WiFi, desk, hairdryer, plenty of lighting. Comfy bed. View from window into courtyard. Smart bathroom with shower. Nice breakfast scrambled eggs,hot dog sausages, salami,ham,tomato,peppers,rolls and butter. Good coffee and orange juice. The hotel has a discount of 10% with La Coma Bisztró where we had an excellent evening meal.

Friendly people, compact, clean and cozy rooms. Breakfast was simple but of good quality.

Initial room I got was smelling of smoke. However, staff gave me another room which was really good.

Lovely hotel which we returned to on our way home. The hotel receptionist saw my husband struggling to walk and changed our booking to an easy access room on the ground floor. Room was lovely with views over the courtyard and blinds for privacy. Very comfortable bed.Bathroom was a disable friendly wet room. Lots of storage space in the bedroom plus TV and good WiFi and hairdryer. Plugs at bedside .Nice breakfast with hot choice of fried eggs and sausage,cold meats and cheese peppers,tomato and cucumber,rolls,butter,jams,orange juice and coffees and teas.

Disabled toilet was rather high for me and had a funny hole at front which meant you had to stand clear when flushing the toilet as it splashed water.Wet room meant you had to make sure your towel and clothes weren’t going to get wet. Water splashed onto bit by toilet, would be useful to have a squeegee to push water to drain.Coffee was weak, we had an excellent coffee at the bar so a bit disappointed with breakfast coffee machine.

Very friendly receptionist. Even offered a room where we could keep our bikes safe overnight, and offered to get the sauna fired up. The hotel looks classy, feels new and has some nice touches, such the v entertaining coffee adverts on the wall of the outdoor seating area, and displays of local wine areas. There is also a little bar. The breakfast was good to, with eggs and frankfurters, as well as a good choice of cereals.

The room was on the small side, but it had a desk area and met our requirements well.

Beautiful hotel set in a lovely town. Staff very helpful and spoke good English. We had a lovely room with a balcony. Large comfortable bed, lots of wardrobes and drawers. TV and WiFi ,en-suite shower room with shower,toilet and basin. Towels and toiletries. Desk with chairs. Hairdryer. Free parking outside hotel.10% discount at il Primo Italian restaurant just along the road. Breakfast fried egg and sausages,cucumber radish and peppers, coffee and orange juice plus butter and jams. Sauna available for use.

Comfortable room in the centre of town. Staff were very friendly and allowed us to store our bikes safely in the conference room.

Staff was honest in explaining problem with ACGood location, and fast WiFi

The AC stopped working the first night at 2:30 a.m. and 2 white lights on the overhead unit started flashing off/on for over 40 min, totally illuminating the room and I could not sleep. The unit finally shut off at 3:10 a.m. and I turned the unit back on as it was very hot in the room by then. When I reported this to the front desk in the morning, I was told yes, they knew about this problem (display also reads 26 CH) but they hadn't been able to find anyone to fix it. While I was in the room during the day, it happened 4 more times. Reception said it was a problem throughout the hotel. My thought was, why are they putting the customers through this aggravation and sleep interruption when they know about it??? Had I known I was going to be awakened twice early in the morning (happened 2nd night as well) in the wee hours of the morning to flash lights throughout the room and no AC, I would not have booked this room or paid $73 a night. Totally ridiculous and Booking.com should remove the hotel until this problem is resolved.Breakfast was not very good, very little muesli in the bowls and had to ask for milk. Hot dogs is not my idea for breakfast which is what they had offered. Very disappointingI cannot recommend this hotel.
