On the outskirts of San José, just a 10 minutes' drive from Juan Santamaria International Airport, Wyndham San Jose Herradura offers 3 outdoor pools and a casino. The air-conditioned rooms have satellite TV. The center of San José is about 15 minutes’ drive away. Guests also have access to the golf course and tennis courts of the nearby Cariari Country Club. All of the spacious rooms at the Wyndham Herradura have coffee makers, and many have hot tubs. Some have private balconies overlooking the exotic gardens. The outdoor pools have swim-up bars and hot tubs, and are surrounded by sun terraces with loungers. The Wyndham has 3 restaurants, serving a range of different cuisines, plus a fashionable bar. We have environmental sustainability practices and are Wyndham Green certified.

- The pool and location
- Airport shuttle was free.
- There was a issue with heart water, twice there was no hot water in the morning when you?re ready to go to business meeting, and there was always an issue with the towels they forgot to leave them in the room, there was coffee, but no coffee cups
Cons -
- This is not a hotel, this is a motel. The rooms go directly into hallways that are outside. Very misrepresented. Also there are huge gaps under the doors, windows, bugs and everything else comes right in, very noisy. The hotel staff was rude. Rooms dated
- Room was outdated. Dirty floor in room and bathtub was outdated and rustled out at the handle. Breakfast was $15 and not pleasing to American travels. Free shuttle to airport. Looks like they put more effort in the main entrance.
