We have been there before and like the location and the facility.

The automatic check-in platform Alfred is garbage. Personal from the local cafe had to assist us anyway so it was difficult and started our stay negatively.

Disappointing

I tried canceling this reservation as Booking informed me about a security incident in the hotel system during which unauthorized access to some basic details of my reservation reservation were accessed. Soon after, someone reached out to me via whatsapp asking to "confirm" my card details. Claiming there had been a problem with it.

The old building was well adapted into a hotel. I also liked the old town area it was in.

I don't like the impersonal check in - fortunately the man in the cafe helped me. No where to leave luggage, to pick up after lunch, after I checked out ths morning.

The location is good and the room was spacious.

Since the accommodation is above a café and the Google reviews of the hotel showed beautifully prepared breakfasts, we expected something a little more exciting. Of course, the photos on Google are not recent (so I cannot fault the hotel for that), but they did lead us to believe the breakfast would be more special. Perhaps because of this expectation, we felt somewhat disappointed. Without that, we might have been content with the simple breakfast that was offered.

My loft room was spacious and well equipped with everything and more. Parking in front of hotel was easy (not sure what it be like on a busy weekend?). Breakfast buffet was more than adequate.

The automated check-in procedure was cumbersome..unless you know how to use it I suppose. Just remember the confirmation number the machine will ask you for is not the number you get send for your key safe, it’s not the number that they send you when confirming reservation BUT it’s the booking.com reservation number (9+digits)

Clean, confortable and quiet hôtel, good breakfast.

Automatic checkin checkout is fine when you arrive late. But nobody at the desk during the Day is quite strange for this kind of hotel.

Located directly in the city centre. Good bike storage nearby.

Check-in was complicated because there is no hotel personal.

High ceiling, great location, good breakfast, comfy bed, safe place for my bike, very clean.

Check-in is machine only. I didnt know where to find my registration number, but was helped by cafe staff who seem to help when needed. Then at first my key card and that of another client didnt work, but friendly cafe staff again helped.

We arrived at the hotel around 17:00 , and 30 minutes later we decide to leave because we were atacked by a juncky man in front of the hotel . Worst experience ever . Dont recomand ! It is not a safe City.

The location of the hotel at the central city square is excellent and once you are in, the room is nice and sufficiently equipped with even some kitchen facilities and a good double bed although the position under the slated roof makes the access for the person lying on the right hand side of the bed somewhat difficult.

Since the check-in procedure is fully automatic and no staff is available in the hotel we could not enter before exact 15:00 and had to stay out in the rain. Even after 15:00 the check in procedure was difficult, notably since I had already entered all relevant data before on line, and we only managed with the help of friendly staff at the annexed café.Then it turned out that we had to carry all our luggage four stairs up to the room since there was no elevatorThe hotel thus is totally unsuited for disabled guests or even elderly with limited mobility or physical strenght and this should be advertised before a booking is made.

Exceptional

Self-checkin, even resetting the data in advance did not help, I had to do it again when I arrived, very annoying.

Staff at hotel and cafe are wonderful. Natálie and Diana were so welcoming, friendly, and helpful they made the trip experience the best!

Having air conditioning available in all the hotel rooms would make hot days more comfortable for all guests

No reception.You should fill a lot of personal data of ALL people staying including copy of ID / passport.Then on check-in automat you should scan again your passport / ID of all peoples in group staying.For check out you you get a QR code. On check-out QR code was not working. Only for this I will not stay againAdditionally the room was definitely smaller than in description on booking.Our room was not cleaned at all. The electric kettle was not working. We paid the same money two weeks ago in Radisson in Bassel, Switzerland as here.Generally this place is not worth the money. It's not terrible. It's just not enough. It's a little better B&B. Definitely not a good hotel.

Avoid to go there

The check-in must be done via a machine that was not working and no receptionist was available. We called the receptionist and she was not able to speak a fluent English nor to help. They are asking to be paid at the check-in, not at the check-out time.The day after, a receptionist came to the breakfast area and he asked to be paid by cash, speaking just in Czeck or German.Poor self-service breakfast - you have to bring back glasses and dishes nearby the dishwasher and no room service if you do not put the proper advice on the door of the room.
