Great location and enjoyed the family run hotel hospitality.

Air conditioning was not available

Location is good, staff is friendly and comfort is quite good (noise from road is annoying), room is cleaned.Breakfast has to be requested previous day, surely is cheap to manage but not good to have one glass of orange, one croissant... pretty poor.

Street noise can be heard quite well when staying in a room right next to the road. Earplugs help.

More bathroom and toilet accessories (would be ideal)

This family run hotel is a bit outdated but for me at least it s park of the charm of the Italian 60s.However it s perfectly clean, the service is extremely good and they know how to treat professionally and with extreme courtesy their clients. The food of the restaurant is excellent and very good value for money. The breakfast is very (did I say very?) abundant and homemade. Absolutely recommended and I will come back for sure.

Nothing really. It would benefit of some upgrades in the rooms as for example a lamp on the bedside for reading in bed. a slightly more modern look in the rooms (but keeping the antique furniture!) would be an improvement.

The view was decent and the cleanliness of the room was above average.

After driving 800 kms the day of arrival, I was hoping to get a nice dinner with some drinks; however, the receptionist destroyed my hopes after saying their restaurant is closed for 2 weeks and handing me a paper to choose my breakfast a day before. In this day and age, it is silly and questionable when the facility requires the order to be placed hours, 1 day, before the actual breakfast. In addition, the selection was mediocre and the size of the actual meal was underwhelming. Furthermore, the room I received was on the second floor of the tall building of the hotel, with no elevator and steep steps. Hence, quite an awful experience after the loing drive. Upon questioning the position of the room, the necessity to order the day prior and no access to a hotel lounge bar, the receptionist had the audacity to ask "Do you have a problem?" All in all, the experience at this hotel was quite unique, underwhelming and not comforting at all. The chances of travelling here again are slim and I do not recommend anyone to stay here for business or other short stays, unless absolutely required.

Staff was polite and friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable for two people.

It was a 30 mins walk from the train station with no taxi or bus to reach hotel. Ideal if you are driving.

Room was nice and modern. Bed was firm and supportive. Sheets were all cotton. comfortable bar in library.

The breakfast is excellent, many options to chose.We were on a business trip and the hotel exceed our expectations, very comfortable and people take care of you.Piece of advice: book taxis in advance.
