Clean and almost luxurious

Location in the town of Murau was great, restaurant and breakfast were excellent

We stopped on our way with the bikes on the Murradweg. Murau is a very nice town.The food was very good in the restaurant of the Hotel.

Amazing family run traditional gasthaus in a beautiful building at the heart of the village. The staff are really kind and welcoming, and the food in the restaurant was incredible.

Friendly staff and great public areas. Great food.

It was good for the value and close everything

The bathroom had a really bad urine smell. The toilet is cramped by the shower so im guessing when men stand to pee it splashhes on the walls and i normally would not say anything but the smell gave me a headache.

The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.

During our stay, some guests accidentally took our skiing equipment. We immediately informed the staff and asked if they could check with other guests, but their response was dismissive and indifferent. Instead of actively helping, they showed little interest in resolving the situation. As a result, we had to rent new equipment, even though everything could have been solved much sooner with more involvement from the staff. Fortunately, the guests returned our equipment the next day, but the lack of assistance from the hotel left a disappointing impression.

Nice location. Spacious rooms. Cleanliness.The breakfast is really superb.The hotel cat is pretty fluffy.

The hotel rooms badly need an upgrade, although there is a charm for the retro or rather oldish equipement. But the shower in my bathroom just stopped working at a point, oldie but not goldie... The rooms totally lack any equipement, purely just bed and table, TV and a bath, nothing more, rather poor for this price. There is not enough parking space for the guests cars. The check in is limited, althugh they provide a solution for guests arriving after 6 PM (!!) you have to specify when exactly, in 2025 there should be solutions for such events.

We booked the ‘budget’ room. Based on the picture, we knew not to expect any luxury, but what we got was unacceptable. The room was in a hidden corner of the hotel and when we entered we were greeted by a smelly, run-down, old room. The hotel staff know that the room is crap because they don’t even dare to take photos of it for Booking. So I think this is not fair to the guests at all. It turns out that the hotel’s own website has information that the hotel has a 3- and 4-star section, but this is not mentioned at all on Booking. So anyone who relies solely on this will be very disappointed. When I complained, the staff seemed to not care. They must have fooled a lot of people like this before, they were unbothered. And when I said that they could be sure that I would write about my bad experiences, it also left them indifferent. I've been to many places around the world, but I've never encountered one where the host didn't offer at least a dinner or something small as compensation. Everyone, avoid this place!

The stuff at the reception was not realy interested, cold and quick check in and check out. The hint that a sauna wastes Energy was not helpful to feel good in the Sauna at all. The room was oldfashioned (not traditional) and kind of used. Breakfast was poor, just ordinary cereals, pretty hard bread...not fresh. No soy milk....disapointing Poor variety of cake or other sweets in the afternoon

For the 2nd night there were almost no staff as they had a day off (everything was working) but it wasn’t clearly communicated The 3* version of the rooms (budget) were quite retro The handle on the window was damaged and outlet for the phone next to the bed was missing a cover

The Hotel location is great for the visit of the Murau Town.

The room photo is not for the room specified in the Booking.com reservation system, but for the room with the higher price.

Solid breakfast,nice location with scenic view. We have half pension and I like that for the price of half ensign we were able to eat what we want from the menu.

There were not a lot of choices for breakfast.

Breakfast was fine. Broad selection of food.

The room was different quality than expected.The dinner was not at the level that used to be.

The food was excellent, and the cleanliness of the room was perfect.

We had a disagreement with the management. Our request was evetually met, but the approach of the owner was extremly arrogant. We have never experienced such kind of sarcastic approach towards the guest before. It was a real shame.

Clean room, convenient parking, very tasty dinner. Good location in the center. Easy to get to Kreischberg ski resort.

If you book the 4-star, that we opted after realising that the budget rooms on the first floor were old and mushy, it is outstanding in all respects. Hotel staff was polite and helpful. Food was very good. I will stay here again and recommend to choose this hotel (only 4-Star one).
