The 3-star Hotel Astoria is just a 15-minute walk from the historic center of Salzburg with the Festival Hall and Mozart's birthplace. There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel. Each room has a TV, WiFi, a safe and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. A varied breakfast buffet is served every morning. Our sun terrace is also available to our guests in fine weather. Our lounge has a large flat screen TV, a record player and a self-service bar. Hotel Astoria provides a very limited number of parking spaces.

- Good breakfast. Charming vibe.
- The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the heart of Salzburg. Although we checked out of our room at 10 am, the staff kindly allowed us to keep our call parked there until we left at 3 pm This was no small gift as parking is difficult in Salzburg.
Cons -
- The room we had was adjacent to the hotel check-in desk. It was incredibly noisy when people were in the lobby. Also, the shower was not acceptable. Incredibly unintuitive, with poor water pressure. Hotel response to our disappointment was abysmal.
