Family-run for 100 years, the charming Hotel Hohenstauffen is in a quiet location, a leisurely 15-minute walk from Salzburg's historic quarter. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. The bedrooms are decorated in a traditional theme. The classic looking drapes and floral prints further enhance the overall feel. Hand-crafted furnishings give each of them a touch of individuality. The breakfast room has original beam ceilings and traditional furnishings, and every morning you can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet. - The location was fairly centralized; The buffet breakfast was nice. The bed was great.
- This hotel oozed charm. The staff were very gracious and kind. They were very helpful all our questions. We did not eat breakfast here but wish we had, it looked excellent to with a wide selection.
- Impeccably clean. Delightful buffet breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons -
- So we had a two room apartment. There were two showers but it was impossible to use one of them without drenching the carpet outside of the door. We also had no light or power in one of the rooms. Lastly, NO AC!!!!
- We had some difficulties with our travel arrangements so we¿re late arriving. A kettle to have a hot beverage would have been nice but just a wish, not a complaint.
